Crash Lounge — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I don’t recommend this place at all. It was mine and my friend’s first time going here and we sat at the bar and waited for the bartender to help us. One of the bartenders working there, a red headed lady, completely ignored us the whole time we were waiting there which was over 20 minutes. No greet or acknowledgement whatsoever. She only kept helping the people sitting next to us and people that kept coming after we had sat there first. When I finally tried to get her attention and mentioned we’d been waiting there she and we noticed she only helped the people next to us and the people that kept coming after us, she just replied with “because I know them.” Honestly, it was the worst decision going there and I’ll make sure to let people know about the crappy people...

I had a bad first experience. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the restroom. Only one person had went in behind me other than what seemed to be an employee who retrieved my purse. When I got my purse back, my debit/credit cards and cash were gone and someone already sent money through Apple Pay. I confronted the one person I saw go in after me but she denied to take anything. The manager claimed that person was a loyal customer and wouldn’t steal…I asked the manager for the surveillance footage and he said he texted the owner for it and was told the camera didn’t catch wherever I was sitting to see when I got up for the restroom…I was sitting at the bar. Hands down my favorite bar in Bakersfield. The bartending expertise and rutheless pursuit of originality brings a delicious, fresh genius to the area. Neil and Matt have people skills that are smooth and welcoming. Cocktail prowess and execution of unconventional great service sets this bar apart in downtown Bakersfield. You may not get the madness immediately but trust me, this place is gold(copper if you look at the ceiling). Bonus points for Muertos delivering some killer dishes directly to the bar.
