Don Pepe's WAS My FAVORITE I Was Eating Here For YEARS Literally Spending Hundreds Or Even Thousand/s On Them . I Was A Regular , No One Had To Ask Me What I Wanted , They Knew . Ate The Same Thing ALL The Time . Chile Verde Burrito Is One Of My Favs . Till 2014-2015 They Started Putting HARD LEAVES In Their Burrito . Imagine Getting The Same Thing For 2-3 Years && All Of The Sudden Pulling A Hard Leaf Out Of Your Gum . I Was HIGHLY Disappointed When I Asked Why All Of The Sudden The Burrito Was Made Like This . They Told Me "We Always Make Them Like That" I Said " No , You Guys Haven't . I Believe Your Guys Have A New Chief That Does This Cus I've Had Always Ordered This && This Is The 1st Time My Burrito Came With HARD Leaves" She Said "It's For Flavor" I'm Thinking To Myself HELL NAW ! More Like Blood Flavor After Eating This . The Leaves Were NOT Soft Like How Noodles Bend When Cooked They Were Like Noodles Before You Cook Them . When I Took The Leaf Out Of My Mouth It Was BROKEN IN HALF Like A Tree Branch Would Break In Half . Wasn't NO Softness In Them . 1st && LAST Time Getting A "Razor Burrito" I Had Went Back To Turn In My Razor Buritto && Had Them Make The 1 They've Made Me Without Leaves . After That They've Lost A LOYAL , VERY LOYAL Customer . Don Pepe's WAS Like The ONLY Restaurant I Ate At . Smh . I Hope They Get It Together . Idk About The Rest Of Their Food Cus Like I Said I ALWAYS Bought The Chile Verde Burrito...

this has been multiple times where I ordered online and they got my meal wrong. I didn't say anything until finally today . today was a hurricane storm and I walked from my apartment to go pick up. I called to tell the supposedly manager ( I think was the cook) and told him about my meal being wrong yet again . he told me I had to walk in the rain today or I don't get the meal I initially wanted. I told him I wasn't going to walk again in the rain and asked if I can come by the next day with the meal I got incorrect , and he told me no, I have to go right now in the rain ! what manager would say I have to walk in the rain again ? after their mistake? he was extremely rude and I was not expecting such a response . I've talked to the manager before who was really nice, and this guy's voice sounded nothing like him but he proclaimed to be the manager. as a loyal customer for years, I am disgusted at the lack of professionalism and I no longer will...

So to start out my family has gone to this establishment for about 30+ years and every time we go it's always what we remembered. The food is authentic, flavorful, and the service there is always good. The servers there remember their regulars and we enjoy talking to them when we always revisit them. If you are looking for a decent spot with good pricing on authentic Mexican cuisine it's the best place to go during their lunch hours.

The cons of this review however for me is it feels a bit outdated for the table layout of the booths but if you look around it's very artistic in its own sense with some memorable objects. Given the space within the restaurant it's decently sized but not large enough like fergatis and other restaurants.
