Tacos El Toro — Restaurant in Bakersfield

This cashier, Never welcome me coming in nor a thank you for coming. Customer service was so bad I anxiously left not noticing I had left my drink, sitting in front/side of the register where she had placed it., You think! She should have said, ma'am your drink!!! Nope I drove a half mile from the place realizing I didn't have my drink! Drove back walk in trying to get her attention...Finally! I said, oh my drink is sitting right here. I had told her! I left my drink, she said oh! Yea! and we both said, that I would like a new one.... And she set the cup down and walked away. I thought to myself, well maybe it's my skin I'm in or the walk, or the way I talk, I didn't know why I was treated in such a way, and began to blame myself! I started eating the food and it was bland, my daughter pulled over and had given her and my food to a homeless young man she went to school with. Food we hadn't eaten because of the first bite of what we had tasted. I am a grateful human being. I didn't want to waste food and maybe someone else would eat it. I will not go here anymore! if better customer service !!! I might have given it another chance. I'm saddened that people are so mean, prejudice, cruel, or evil in our...

I used to enjoy going there when they first opened. But lately they have been messing up my order. Past times I haven't gone back to complain because I can always pick out or fix their errors at home. They have gone downhill. Their service is awful. For as long as they take, my order should be perfect but it's not. They don't even offer you a refund (I had to ask for it), just correction.

Went in for torta with no onion and two plain tacos de tripas. I got home and my torta was good but as soon as I opened what the lady said was tacos, it was just a box of cow tongue with onion.

Also gone in for menudo with foot. No foot in my bowl.

Tacos de tripas. Plain. Original. Got tacos with everything (so I took that off) and they were overdone, tasted burnt

Wet chili verde burrito. Got regular chili verde burrito.

It's been a long time since I had excellent I mean real good Menudo whoever is the cook of his business give this man or woman a big raise you're doing an excellent job the menudo was so good man I can go back there in that kitchen and eat me five bowls me and my wife very blessed to come and visit and eat some very good excellent Menudo I'll make sure the word gets out especially on Facebook continue to make excellent Mexican food for Bakersfield no matter if people don't like it or not continue serving Bakersfield with the best we will keep you guys in our prayers for great success here in Bakersfield thank you...
