We Had To Take My 17"HP Laptop in Because One Of The 2 Fan's Had Quit Working, So I Googled Computer Place's & Computer Depot Is One Of Them That Had Came Up, So I Had Looked @ Their Reviews & Had Decided To Take It To Them. They Said That It Was Going To Cost Us A $50.00 Diagnostics Test On It, Just To Make Sure That That Was The Only Thing Wrong With It. So We Left It With Them. They Called Us A Few Day's Later & Said That He Thought That He Had Fixed It Because He Said It Hadn't Shut Down On Him Like It Was On Us. So He Only Charged A Few More $'s Because He Already Knew That We Would Be Bringing in Some Other Hard Drive's To Retrieve Photo's Off Of Them. Anyways The Reason That We Had To Bring It Back Was Because The Fan Has Quit & The Laptop Shutdown Again, So We Didn't Want To Take A Chance & Get It Hot. Right Now We Are Waiting For The Part To Come In, I Will Come Back On & Update When We Get The Laptop Back. UPDATE::::::We Got The Laptop Back & It Was Just Like The Guy Had Told Us, He Changed The Fan & I'll Just Knock On This Wooden Table Next To Me, It Has Been Working Ever Since. So Thank U Computer Depot For Doing Suck A Great Job Working On Our Laptop For Us. Otherwise My Husband Would Be Going Through D.T's Right Now. Lol Anyways If Y'all Need A Good Place To Take Yall's Computer's, Laptop's, Or In Taking It Anything Electronic, Y'all Can Take It To COMPUTER DEPOT. They Are Really Nice People In There, They Treat U With Respect, No Matter Who U Are....
Read moreDon’t trust this place. I took my laptop in here when it suddenly started showing a blank red screen with the loading symbol in the center upon startup, nothing would work on it including safe mode or even the menu to get to safe mode only ctrl + alt + del and a blue background would show up with three options being internet power and ease of access. I asked them to fix it they told me they’d need to run diagnostics which costed 40 bux. So I paid it and three days later they tell me it’s not fixable that something was spilled on the computer. I knew better. So I took it to a friend that has experience with computers and repairing them. Took him less than a week to completely restore it and two days to figure out the hard drive was full to maximum and that was part of what caused the problem as well as a connection problem within the system. I deserve my money back. They also suggested I take a look at the refurbished computers they had in stock like they were just money hungry. Don’t go here if you value your money and truly want your electronic fixed.
Additionally: they “ forgot” to give back my computer power supply so I had to run back and get it an hour later yet when I picked my computer up all the other computers they had that were on the shelf of repaired or ready to be returned computers all had their power supply cords sitting on top of the computer they belonged to...
Read moreI haven't ever taken a computer or electronic device for repair there but I do know that there wasn't bad customer service at all. The people who worked there were very kind and helpful with good advice and suggestions. They had a good selection of RAM and the same goes for there processors. They had a smaller, but still decent amount of towers and power supplies, but those were all good most being high end. They also had a good amount of hard drives and GPUs. The most extensive thing they carried though was there motherboards they had an entire shelf devoted to a variety of motherboards with a very reasonable price tag, some even lower then the super companies that can choose their price tag with more ease. They had another row devoted to items like internet boxes and similar devices. The last shelf was filled with used computers, all being at a good price. On the bottom row, they had scrap and repairable computers, most in which the price was as much as the tower or processor alone and used. My favorite part was the customer service which was out standing. They helped me find half the components needed o build my computer at a minimum of $10 less then the larger...
