Panda Express — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I'm going to start off by saying I absolutely do not care for Panda Express so my rating may be a little biased. I will do my best to take that into consideration. However, I came here to pick up free food that my son got for good grades at school. Ordering through drive thru seemed easy enough. However, the young lady seemed to not hear or understand me as I ordered or she was simply not focused on the customer 🤷 As we got to the window to pick up our food, the young lady seemed confused again as to what we ordered (simple kids meal) and had to double check what we ordered. After a few minutes, we finally got our food. I should have known to double check our order before leaving the drive thru but I didn't. Lo and behold, as I was exiting the area to get on the road, my child states his side order wasn't in the bag. So around I go back into the drive thru to explain to the young lady that she forgot to put all the food in the bag and went through the process again. Even through all this, my son still...

waited 20 mins to order in drive thru only one car in front of me, paid given wrong change when had to wait for correct change employee was annoyed like i was wrong, told me to park and they'd bring food waited another 20 mins before going inside to find out what was going on when inside greeted like i was a pickup said no was a parked drive thru, employee looked for order nothing then asked for receipt still nothing of the 15+ ppl working no one helped, finally just asked for my money back almost there an hour and nothing, manager brought money and said NOTHING literally tossed the money at me, changed dropped all over but said nothing no sorry or give us another chance or this isn't normal, got the feeling this is normal honestly, they do not care, i mean we all know one person not going wont matter but panda should strive to hire ppl who at least PRETEND to like their job and want you to spend your hard...

Panda Express Buena Vista - Stockdale: Disappointing and Consistently Poor Quality

I recently gave this location another shot, hoping it had improved since my last visit. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The food here is consistently soggy, bland, and never fresh.

I placed an online order, which they managed to mess up. When I went back the next day to get it corrected, I was treated like I was trying to scam them for free food. That wasn’t the case at all—there are just certain things I don’t eat at Panda.

It seems like when the food here gets old, instead of discarding it, they substitute one of your items and hope you’ll eat it without complaint. It feels sneaky and dishonest.

From now on, I’ll be returning to my previous Panda Express location, where the food is always good and the service reliable. Unfortunately, this Buena Vista store has failed to meet expectations...
