Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Bakersfield

The service is extremely terrible, the manager there a Lady with name tags that indicates her name is Pilar and is the manager there is bilingual (Spanish and English) and I understand Spanish. This manager was the most unprofessional, disrespectful, loud, aggressive, and foul mouthed. My husband and I got to the window to pick up the order and my husband attempted to let Pilar (Manager) the the speaker were you order is not working because it cuts off and it sounds the whole time there was static so it was hard to understand on our end not sure on Pilars (Manager) side was the same because you can here that she was getting frustrated even though my husband also told Pilar (Manager) at the time of taking the order that the speaker was not working, we were able to hear her talking in Spanish certain words that were very foul. At the window after paying and apologized for the misunderstanding and again was told by my husband to Pilar (Manager) that the speaker was not working she provided me with our order. I looked to see if everything was received and there was items missing and was informed of them. Well Pilar got very upset that she yelled at my husband saying that we didn’t order that. We reminded Pilar (Manager) of the speaker, Pilar (Manager) rolled her eyes and started yelling disrespectful, vulgar words about us the customers to the other employees. The employees faces looking shocked and embarrassed especially when I informed Pilar (Manager) that I understood Spanish and spoke to her in Spanish as she assumed I didn’t speak it. She did not apologize in any manner she smelled and continued to talk trash now in English and Spanish. I took a picture of her with her badge at the window and to make things worse she posed for a smile to provoke the situation. I mentioned that I will report this. She said go ahead. This happened on 6/1/21. What ever happened to the customer is always right or just curtesy to a paying customer? I don’t recommend this place not to say all Jack in the box are the same because I’ve been to others were the customer service was wonderful. Just be careful all because Pilar (Manager) moved to were i could not see her and though that last of the order at us she could of spit in the food we just didn’t consume it. Be ware please. Pilar (Manager) also went through the purchased items in the bag to attempt to show us that we did get what she heard we ordered with no gloves and her cashiering imagine how unsanitary those cash, or card grabbing hands are to touch that food. The employees working 10/10. This refugee isn’t about your hard working employees. This review is about the incompetence of the management who cannot understand simple simple supply chain economics.

A dozen times so far this year that I have noticed there have been significant supply chain issues of which this location runs out of key components to their menu. This suggests that management who is often in charge of ordering and understanding restaurant trends isn’t doing a great job at keeping up with the orders.

This isn’t a simple “worldwide” shortage as such simple things are running out that are almost never in shortage such as lettuce, ranch, chicken, and jalapeños.

The ice cream machine is often either “broken” or “out” which is intriguing especially since the federal government is now investigating restaurant chains for machines not “working”.

To the district manager or corporate please give this manager or whomever did I charge of ordering a lesson on data analytics, supply chain, or restaurant trends. It is embarrassing that this location keeps running out. Simply...

HORRIBLE!!! RUN AWAY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SAVE YOUR SELF! First of all when me and my dad ordered, we had a clerk who was getting kind of confused at what we were ordering when it was super simple, for one she couldn't speak English well. A couple minutes later we decided to get onion rings. Then we got our burgers. But we had to wait 10 minutes to just find out that the onion rings were on the shelf getting cold, so we had to ask if we can get them. The food was ok, but the service is terrible. The trash cans were overflowing and there were no paper towels in the bathroom. There was a worker mopping floors in front of the entrance during busy hours and I almost slipped.
