Quick Summary It has all aspects of what you want from a brewery, but what separates it from other breweries in town is the outdoor patio
Food- 3.5 stars Typical bar food. I've tried most of the appetizers (they're usually good, but not fantastic; it's difficult to screw up fried foods). Their sandwich specials are decent, but the food is definitely a tier below places like Eureka and Sonder (which kind of makes sense due to the small price difference)
Ambiance- 5 stars Always a lively crowd; it's a great place for small or large parties. Seating indoors does get limited during the summer time when it's super hot outside. But I really like this Lengthwise because of the outdoor patio with ping pong tables and multiple cornholes
Bottom Line Great place to hang out, enjoy some beers and play some games. I would eat something prior to...
Read moreVisiting from Detroit, MI and found this place online. We went last Saturday to do the free tour of the brewery. It was pretty cool to see their whole operation. We also had a few beers and ordered some food. My fiance and I both enjoyed the Full Moon Wheat beer. Very good!! My fiance had the tri tip sandwich and loved it! He even ate his leftovers later that night. I had the chicken strips. Which were delicious by themselves. It came with a side of their homemade bbq sauce which was the best part of the whole meal!! So good!! I wish I could buy a bottle! The GM was super friendly and helpful! He's the one that took us on the tour and was our bartender. Outside they have a bunch more seating and ping pong. Love the atmosphere and...
Read moreLengthwise continues to be the preeminent brewery/restaurant in the Bako area. This newer location is awesome for its wide, open atmosphere. The food choices are eclectic and creative versions of classic American pub fare. You'd be more pleased dining and drinking here than the national chains (BJ's, Eureka! et al ). The craft brews are top notch, rivaling those from Stone Brewing, Firestone Walker, and Dogfish Head in terms of creativity and craftsmanship. Service is good, though not excellent, yet still satisfactory enough to keep you enjoying the great food and beer. I still prefer Lengthwise's Rosedale location for its darker, cozier feel. However, this location is awesome for those who like the wide...
