So I saw they have Loco Burrito Grillers that looked appealing but since I have never tried them before I backed it up with a couple of pieces of a-la-carte chicken and boy am I glad I did because those "burritos" are tiny! They give you a big box with the two "burritos" a side of the dipping sauce and one side (corn) but the box could easily be half the size. The "burritos" are more like taqitos (not much bigger than a taco bell soft taco supreme)! I had the beef and chicken combo and neither was a flavor giant with the chicken being slightly better because the beef one might have had only one morsel of beef in it so who knows what the beef tastes like. The dipping sauce was pretty unexceptional and very watery (they mention queso so I was expecting something thicker). The stars of the show was my two backup pieces of chicken breast and thigh, they were flavorful but yet again, they had to have been some of the smallest chickens around! Both the breast and thigh had very little meat on them (like less than half of what a Sam's Club or Costco rotisserie chicken has on them). For $20 there are better options (like Sam's or Costco) if you want chicken that actually make a meal and as for the "burritos", it's not worth the $12 unless you have a very small appetite. Originality and flavor for the burritos was a 6 but a 3 for meal itself. The chicken was an 8 for flavor and preparation but a 2 for...
Read moreThis is the worst location! They close whenever they feel like it. They don't post signs when they decide to close early. I pulled up at 7:50pm and 4 other cars were in line in front of me. When it was my time to place my order, no one answered. I got off my car and the door was locked. A employee seen me and said we closed at 8 today, i looked at my watch and it was 8:03pm! They could have taken my order or at the very least posted a sign to let ppl kno they are closing early. The worst customer service ever. Online the store hours say close at 10pm. This isn't the 1st time I experienced them shutting down the drive thru early either with this location. Also, about a month ago, the employee taking drive thru orders was helping the cook flip chicken and she was making orders. There were several ppl in the store waiting around for food. I waited about 4 minutes, I was never approached to place my order. My friend and I left and went to Popeyes chicken! They should just close this location down since they work when they feel like it. Go to the Stockdale or California location instead save...
Read moreIn general a poiloko is amazing but when it comes to the location on California Avenue it is absolutely horrible and comparison. Long story short I worked there and they use extra ingredients that are not included they use old chicken and cut every corner to save mone. They use rotten food as well as change the dates on the food that's out to serve so that ifThe food inspector comes by it will look correct but in fact It is way pasted serve by time. They did try to clean well but that didn't start me from finding cockroaches Including in the cooking oil that is used daily. Use another huge thing they do to cut corners is skimp on anything healthy so they definitely skim on lettuce on chicken breast for instance the poyables are supposed to have 6 to 8 oz of chicken broths and they repeatedly give the leftover chicken thigh. I don't think I need to say anymore so I'll This here for you to decide. I will see the other location seems to be way better. There's standards maybe way higher I'm not sure but...
