Del Taco — Restaurant in Bakersfield

This del taco has gone down hill . Del taco is my absolute favorite fast food. I can eat it everyday. The last 5 times I have been here. The order is wrong food taste bad ,and the wait is crazy long. So it's to the point where I'm throwing away food. They haven't changed the fry oil the fries taste awful . They always put lettuce on my tacos and sauce when I ask for it to be plain. My son won't eat it that way so I've had to throw away his food 3 times already . Tonight I got a jacked up burrito with extra sauce. My go to favorites thing. The tortilla was stuck to the paper and completely fell apart and wasn't edible. It's weird tho cuz they wrapped the burrito with 2 wrappers. The second wrapper you could see beans ans sauce everywhere. Like they knew it was messed up but was like o well serve anyways. The food use to be on point fast and fresh. I used to like coming here and had it rated 4 stars. But recently the quality has really suffered. I suppose that goes hand in hand with lower prices of their food compared to that of competitors like taco bell. However I wouldn't mind higher prices for better prepared meal. Thus I have to now at 3 stars.

5.22.19 I decided to give this place a go for some burritos and tacos. I asked for 2 for $5 burritos. then I asked them to double that order along with some tacos and drinks. I was perhaps busy quieting my kids in the car to give the receipt a look and the food they handed over. Once I got home I realized they had packed 3 burritos instead of 4. Moreover, instead of charging $10 for the 2 orders of $5/2burritos, the clerk charged 3.79 for each burrito 4 times. Do yourself a favor and always check your receipt and check the food. The employers at this location are not friendly at all. ESPECIALLY the ones who work the night shift. I worked at this location for years & it's just not the same since their manager Angie's gone. They were on us about good customer service and smiling, double checking bag to make sure the orders were right and actually looking like they enjoyed their job and cared about the customers. Now you barely get a thank you or a " have a nice day". There have been a few employers here and there that were friendly. But not for the most part.
