Lengthwise The Pub — Restaurant in Bakersfield

So my very first time at a Lenghtwise was at an event back in February Soooooo fun btw!!! Well i've been doing the whole keto thing for i guess 6 weeks now and have had a rough couple of months since i broke my shoulder so i mentioned to my son...hey son let's go eat some naughty carb loaded stuff today...just for a treat Lol Of course he agreed surprise surprise right!! I decided to take the drive out here mostly because i just needed to get out and chill stress free for a day and i love driving so why not. We got there right at opening got a great comfy booth and decided what to stuff our faces with. I love the comfy vibe in here btw. We decided on those damn addicting luscious stinky fries. My first taste of these was at the event...well lemme tell you when they brought those babies out to our table my son and i were just drooling at that yummy smell of garlic!!! I cannot lie that's the first potato i'd had in 6 weeks!!! And Omg an instant goofy smile washed over my face yea my son laughed at me geez those are the best fries i think i've ever had people!!! My tri tip salad eh probably won't get that again just kinda boring to me i think when i come here i just need to stick with the good stuff you know fried and luscious...it wasn't bad but i've had better. My sons pulled pork burger he was in love with it super tender pork and he said he liked how it wasn't over sauced..he was so happy it was his first time here. Prices are average and service is excellent. We will be coming back cuz i've been dreaming of another cheat meal with...

If you're looking for a wannabe hipster and we think we're in LA type of vibe that features the rudest and most dismissive staff then simply put Lengthwise brewery in your GPS and you'll end up at one of 3 locations in Bakersfield. I have been to all 3 locations and experienced the rudest behavior from staff at all 3. There were spills left uncleaned on the floor of a very crowded bar that could have caused people to fall. Menus were plucked from our table moments after we sat down without even a glance to see if we wanted to order anything. And the cherry on top was that after coming back from the restroom I found that my unfinished pint had been cleared from the table. Let me be clear, there was a shocking total of ONE employees that was polite and smiled...the bartender at the Calloway location. The first time I went to Lengthwise my boyfriend and I were treated so rudely that we left without ordering anything. We thought we would give a different location a chance, but apparently good customer service is simply not part of...

While I can't comment on the food, this is a great spot to stop and grab a beer. We had been on the road from Kingman and decided to stop in here after a stop at the park to play. Bakersfield parks are sketchy, so we figured a brewery was probably the best bet for being kid friendly and safe. Sure enough we got here right after they opened and the staff was super friendly. Really great space indoors and out, we were glad to be able to sit outdoors with our dog. Really cool layout and I was shocked to see a Bultaco motorcycle inside as those aren't seen often. Great beer selection, I had a hard time deciding. We grabbed the pumpkin ale since it was seasonal and a hazy ipa. Our daughter was stoked on the root beer float they had too so everyone was quite happy. Good beers, neat location, and super friendly staff. I'd definitely stop by here again and try some food since the menu looked...
