Stopped here for a dinner and to get out of the heat. It was about 95 degrees outside and the inside of the establishment was maybe 10 degrees cooler. The air was stale and the restaurant was dimly lit. Once we were seated, it was about 10 minutes before the server introduced himself/took our order. By that point we just had him take our entire order for the night (drinks, appetizer, and Entree.) That was pretty much the last time we saw him until we asked for the check. Another 15 minutes passes, and my husband and I are breaking out into a sweat under the lights and we’re still waiting on drinks. We flag down another server and our drinks are finally served. About 10 minutes later, our food is served. My shrimp is under seasoned, over-charred, and already getting cold to the touch. My husband’s ribs were dry and without any type of barbecue sauce or seasoning. So, once the server finally made his rounds to us (1 of 3 tables in his “busy” section) we told him the food was not great and asked for our check. He didn’t make any attempts to remedy the situation or offer refund. He just shrugged “ok well sorry” and got us to-go boxes. Then, as we were heading home my husband calls to let the management know of our dissatisfaction. She asks who our server was and we describe him the best we can (ginger hair and slim male) and she tells us to come back for a refund. We return to the restaurant and she immediately tears into my husband for calling the server “ginger”??? Apparently “ShEs A MoThEr” and that’s disrespectful and antisemitic somehow. Read moreWe have gone to Roadhouse on Rosedale Hwy, since it first opened and always were happy with the food and the service. We went there last night and it was a huge disappointment. The service was fine, but the food was lacking in so many ways. I ordered a Bacon Wrapped Fillet, what I got was bacon wrapped, but was definitely not a fillet. My guess is probably a sirloin. It was less than 3/4" thick, and and about 3" x 5". Was almost charred on both sides and one end was so stringy it was difficult to even cut. I got the garlic fries, my husband got the regular fries, neither of which had been cooked any time in the recent past. They had obviously been cooked then kept under a warmer for some time, my guess would be at least a couple hours. (probably left over from lunch, as it was just before 4 pm when we ordered) The best thing on my plate was the grilled vegetables, which while good were minimal. 3 pieces of zucchini a mushroom, 2 really tiny cherry tomatoes, and a couple pieces of onion and bell pepper. The only reason I am even giving it 1 star is because the waitress was nice enough to remove the price of the fries from our ticket, and apologized even though we know it wasn't her fault. We should have known there was a problem with their food now, as when we went in we were the only people there, and when we left after eating there was only 2 other people that had come in, and the parking lot was nearly deserted with only 5 cars (including ours) in it. Read moreI went to them to pick up my DoorDash order and they my order 40 minutes late and wasted my time. The front desk employees working at the store are not helpful at all. The girls working at the front are not helpful at all. They didn't even ask me why I was standing here. They didn't ask me the name of my order. They were asking other customers. They were busy with themselves. Are we crazy? We don't know why they make us crazy. Out of all Baker Fields, they have the worst service and the worst restaurant. They sent me away disappointed. I wasted 40 minutes. My order for DoDash is already delivered to them and even then they deliver it late. If you consider those who do delivery crazy, then why do you accept orders from DoorDash if they are not delivered to you on time? Every person with DoorDash is working, that is his job. You are wasting his time. You employees working at the store are also working for money, so why are you wasting other people's time? Many dashers came after me and took their orders and left. They did this to me for some unknown reason, wasting my time. They were giving orders to other dashers at the same time. He was also standing in the same line and I was also standing in the same line. They were asking him in whose name the order was placed, but no one was asking me. Way this is this, respect me.
