Five stars for the experience I had TODAY and today ONLY!!!
I went in not expecting much from the service department; since, everytime I shop at Target it's really a hit or miss regarding them honoring their promotions or any of their policies. However, today I was very pleased with the assistance I received from Emily. Let me preface this by saying that I called in ahead of time inquiring whether I can return an item not in it's original packaging and didn't have a tag. I also did my research and screenshot their policies, so I had proof! The person I spoke to on the phone (Jane) said yes I can bring the item back and get a refund since I had the original receipt.
When I went in, Emily assisted me with the return. In addition, I asked if she can do price adjustments on items I purchased 9 days ago that were currently on sale. Accordingly to their policy, I can get a price adjustment 14 days after purchase if the item goes on sale. There have been several instances when I ask for price adjustments on items that go on sale a week later, the associate would tell me I would need to return the products and repurchase them (a complete waste of time!). Emily did not tell me that. Instead, she honored their policy (which also states that I do NOT need to have the items physically on hand); and gave me the price adjustments. What a pleasant surprise! She did not give me a hard time, nor did she not waste my time. Target NEEDS to hire more willing, capable and respectful individuals like Emily. #HiremoreEmily's

Read moreI went in there today, for no reason what so ever and stumbled into the electronic section, I was completely lost until this guy with a flannel shirt and glasses named Jason helped me around the store, he was very kind and helpful and was super informative about everything! So much so that his charisma persuade me to purchase a pair of earbuds that I didn't even know I needed until I got home and discovered my old ones were blown out and now sound like my distorted speakers on my honda civic 1990 (that I installed myself). They also have a Starbucks in there which is pretty cool, so you can sip you coffee while walking the crowded aisle like it is an L.A. intersection. While walking around the store and getting lost again, this nice lady with pink colored hairs named Bri, helped me find where I was, I was more lost than the time I went to Disneyland! Or I would have, if Bre did not help me with my directional issue. While leaving the store the nice lady with glasses and curly hair Franki helped me find a register that was not as crowded as a drive thru in In N Out and I was able to check out my Monster energy drink and my pokemon cards (I did not pull anything good sadly : ( just some reverse holos). The cashier Christy was very nice and helpful! (Coincidentally enou,h her son is a friend of mine, and I never knew that until now! Small town we live in).
All in all I say I had a good shopping experience, and the workers I meet were super nice and social! Especially those people in the electronic department with the black shirt on and khaki pants!

Read moreI recently returned a camera to your Rosedale location in Bakersfield California. Upon return I asked that the return be made to my bank card and was told that would happen. I was then handed a gift card. I went to the camera department and there was not one single camera within my budget with anti shake in stock. Not online and not in store. My only option would be to drive 45 minutes to Porterville, CA to pick one up! I don't have that as an option. I asked that the gift card be exchanged for a visa gift card or cash or into my bank card. Another associate standing there said there was no reason a Visa gift card couldn't happen. The individual I spoke with said no. So, here I am with a gift card that serves me in NO way! I ONLY needed a camera! This is the second time I have been treated badly by Target. The last time was when a store employee was taking gift cards and saying they were empty and throwing them under his register when they did have money in them. I threw a fit to the manager and that is the ONLY reason she bothered to go check. I was right! I got my money back and your employee had a FULL STACK of other gift cards there. That was December of 2018. I'm done. This is why people shop Amazon. I was a loyal customer but these two situations have made me feel that Target does NOT care about their customers!
