2 hours after our order, my husband looks out our front door to see if we can see anyone coming, and our pizza is sitting on our porch stone cold. We had been waiting by our door and never got a knock or door bell ring. Starving, I called Pizza Hut about it, and the lady was talking over me saying “this happens all the time. This happens all the time” “it’s because we utilize DoorDash when we’re busy” “I’m jus trying to explain to you why this happened” and if this really happens all the time, how are you in business?? I’ve ordered from Pizza Hut and DoorDashed Pizza Hut several times from this location and never had an issue. I spent $74 dollars for stone cold pizza, and she offered a credit for next time or to remake it. But my husband and I haven’t eaten all day, and we’re not waiting longer for them to give us our order correctly. I just hope the supposed credit they added to our phone number actually works next time and this doesn’t happen again. How can you “utilize DoorDash” and never tell the customer their pizza was there? Not a text. Not a call. Not an update on the site. Fifteen minutes before my husband went to our porch, the site updated to tell us it was on the way. But obviously that wasn’t true. I would’ve preferred a refund for this awful service.

Read moreI ordered through the app for deliver the first order was delivered to the wrong person and adress so i called the store and they were going to remake it and send jt again which i was ok with an hour later i still have yet to receive anythimg i call back the same lady who bearly speaks any english answers and hangs up on me over 3 times i keep callimg over and over finally get her on the phone again and tell her to not hang up on me she acts like she doesnt know what i am talking about then i proceed to tell her my issue and she gives me attitude saying that she cant offer me a refund amd that i need to contact doordash myself now why tf would i need to contact a company that i did not order from i ordered directly from the pizza hut app i did not order from doordash she needs to get fired or something her customer service is terrible she is really rude and doesnt not help for anything she then hamgs up on me again and leaves the phone off the machine so when i try calling back it always goes to it being busy.....this is the bakersfield store 8110 rosedale hwy E. This happend march 12,2025 my original order was supposedly delivered at 9:15 called to see what was happening second order was put in system at 9:30pm was told it would be about 30 min 10:30pm...

But they also found out another way to screw over their customers, by charging $1.50 for packets of cheese and peppers, which always used to be free. Are you guys serious?!? Not only are y'all getting orders wrong at this specific location, but the quality has diminished tenfold in the last 5 years. I'm positive that was my last 30 dollar pizza of which was made by a tweenager who doesn't know quality from quantity. And y'all completely got rid of your drivers?!?! For Uber eats?! That company won't be around much longer, so what happens then? And what happens if the order from a delivery is messed up and the customer lives 15 mins away?
