Starbucks — Restaurant in Balch Springs

Quick Review FYI: DRIVE-THRU / WALK-UP WINDOW ONLY Visit: 7/27/2025 around 10 am DISCLAIMER: It was not busy at the time of my visit FOOD: 3/5 Hot, delicious, however the Bacon egg sandwich i ordered was very dry, other than that well seasoned. SERVICE: 5/5 Very patient and friendly, answered all of my questions in a knowledgeable confident manner/pace. Given it's my first time trying Starbucks his service/hospitality was very welcoming. PARKING: !THIS IS A DRIVE-THRU / WALK UP WINDOW ONLY LOCATION! Alas parking is very limited and few, there is a handicap spot near the walk up window.

AREA: This is a very busy location due to the dense amount of other restaurants/stores so expect traffic and occasional jams. CONCLUSION: This is the very first Starbucks in our beloved Balch Springs, although i don't frequent coffee shops my first time experience was a warm and welcome one. The food is served hot and fresh and the coffee elegant albeit tasty.

That being said there is going to be the trouble of congestion given it's very bold location, as mentioned before expect heavy traffic not just in the drive thru, but in the surrounding areas leading in/out of...

Never coming back here. I understand that it is very full and busy at this location, but that does not justify the lack of order with getting the orders correct at both the drive thru and the window.

I've only been at this location twice and both times it's felt like a scrambled mess. This time I just went I received my order incorrectly, one of my drinks was the completely wrong one and the other one was made incorrectly.

I'd rather drive an additional 15-20 minutes to go to another Starbucks location I've frequented instead of this one that is much closer to home, that's how bad this location is, so unless the staff team improves their attention and efficiency in getting these orders out, I do not recommend going here. And if you do please pay close attention to your food/drink and the quality they are being...

I've gone three times since it opened, twice online order at walk-up window, third time, I ordered in the drive through. First time they were a little slow to come to the window, but as they just opened, It was a little expected. Second time they immediately came to the window, and the barista offered me a water after seeing I looked a little exhausted. The third time, they were prompt, friendly, and even helped my friend who is a first time Coffee Drinker pick a drink. Food was great, (my friend's was a little dry, but good, see Carlos Mendoza for his review) Drink was great, and the parking lot is clean. My only issue with this location is it's walk-up/Drive-thru only. Would have loved a coffee shop to sit in and hang out with friends. Other than that one complaint, great experience...
