Gorditas Durango — Restaurant in Balch Springs

So this place is super cute and welcoming looking from the outside the girl on the register was very nice and actually helped us choose some things on the menu since we were new to this establishment but I hate to say that once we sat down you get to choose where you sit and then the waitress did not even greet us I had to greet her 1st which I don't have a problem with but the fact that she looked at us and didn't even greet it just bothers me. we ordered gordita's and tacos and My gordita's are pretty good but my husband was not a fan of the al pastor tacos he didn't even eat 1 bite of them before he spit it out, he did like the fajita tacos. the rice and beans were really good and the Agua fresca of horchata was really yummy but the jamaica had no flavor. I also gave it a 3 star because of the fact that it was super hot inside of there and it was humid and also when I went to the restroom I noticed there was urine on the floor and around the toilet seat so which made it really uncomfortable to use the one toilet stall..I Will say that I did not enjoy the fajitameat I think they were beistek and also that meat tasted a little bit funny and had no...

We were super excited to find this place but unfortunately didn’t make the 5 star review!! For 37 $ I expected to come back . We order 2 Gordita s one was flour so that was a 1 and some change . Three street tacos fajita one chk and received a taco plate with just three tacos and rice and beans , the taco was all in the beans . Also order additional 3 street tacos but was charge for hand made tacos which are 3.19 $ . Completely different from what we ordered .. When they came to give th food I noticed this and I spoke up and the did give me a extra taco BUT STILL WAS WRONG 😔They gave three chk and TWO FAJITAS S!! But they did try but for the first time coming we were not impressed by any means and which is sad bc we were happy to live close and find a great pIace . THought ok maybe don’t say anything MAYBE THE TASTE WILL OVER COME ALL THIS!!! But no THEY FAILED AGAIN!! Plus many flys around . I hope this help...

Was told they opened in October we live in the area and never noticed it until i stumbled upon a post on Facebook so we went and tried it out last Saturday, my husband especially wanted to go because he is from Durango we ordered Gorditas they were very good only thing was food did take a while to be made and taken to our table and with that being said we actually saw a customer walk out after ordering his food because they never brought his food to his table and i believe he arrived at the same time we did...felt bad for the guy i actually noticed the to go orders being made fairly quickly then the people dinning in...so they obviously need to fix that a.s.a.p. Also once we finally got chips and salsa taken to our table the lady brought our order within seconds after the lady who brought the chips and salsa 🙄 so yeah Gorditas were delicious (do need a bit more meat) customer...
