So we had a birthday this weekend and wanted to go enjoy some food and sit down because we had been there before and wanted to enjoy aside that I just made it home if you know what I mean , the service and when I say service I don't mean the waiters, but the kitchens staff the lady you asked for tortillas tells us there is a limit on how many I could ask for I asked for too many I guess ,when asked her to plate three tacos they served anyone but me but since I work in the industry, I'm decided to be kind and wait when she spalled the tortilla on my plate because everyone's tortillas was slammed on the plate to let us know she didn't want to be there. There was another kitchen staff refilling the hot table bumped my in-law on purpose if you don't want to be around people my mother would suggest finding a dark hole to hide in, maybe that's what she should have done I let that slide as well being I've worked buffets in a three to four time bigger place , my inlaw asked for her to apologize she was horrible the same one told me you can't get no more tortilla's , I think it's disgusting to treat people that come consume and contribute to their salary to disrespect the guest, if this isn't the job you like then I suggest finding a new one. The food wasn't to par it got us all sick and the lack of culinary skills. Who uses vegetable bags anymore I don't want fava beans in my calabacitas maybe the staff is lacking because they have not one culinary bone in their body. It was a huge let down , not to mention the seating, don't bother making reservations for they don't reserve place they take you in sit you on loooooong tables to uncomfortably squeeze in and out , the overall experience was a let down but the food was outright grotesque not to mention the no options for children and those stale hard dry chicken nuggets ain't it . I do NOT recommend the experience, remember people this isn't the only place serving "Mexican" food or has live entertainment, save ya...

I've been coming here for quite some time, and have always enjoyed the lunch buffet. Although, the past couple of visits here have left a bad taste in my mouth. On one incident, my girlfriend and I had gone to have lunch. Typically, I always get water and try to stay away from soda, and my girlfriend usually gets a soda. On this particular visit, I had taken a sip of her soda, but no more than that. When we received the check in the end I noticed that they had charged us for 2 sodas, which are like $5 each, and when I questioned the bill they said they had seen me drinking my girl's soda. I explained to them that I took one sip, and they said it didn't matter that I had to be charged for a second drink. So, I said whatever and just paid it. After taking a bit of a break from coming back to Guadalajara Grill, my girl and I decided to finally go back for the lunch buffet. On this occasion we went with our 10 month old son. After both of us served our plates, I noticed the staff watching us again, and so I decided to ask before I gave any food to our son, and so I asked the waiter if I was allowed to give our son a couple of pinches of rice because he only eats a little. The waiter us that if they seen us give him even a tiny bit of food that they would charge us for another plate. After, I asked the manager if this was true and he confirmed that even if we gave him a grain of rice that they would charge us. Knowing how little our son eats, we decided not to share any food with him, and instead gave him his baby food we had in his bag. I was afraid that they would charge for using a napkin to clean his face though. I used to really enjoy coming to this restaurant, but after these last couple of times felling like I was being watched and them trying to nickel and dime us about everything, I don't think that will be...

This is horrible place to eat at horrible food and please don’t let the waiiter drop drinks on you the restaurant will not take full responsibility for there actions and if it was dropped on your clothing and shoes they will not pay for any damage to your clothing but want to give you 15 % off the bill the manager has no management skills and is getto I never experienced anything like that …….. know you are lying about the situation I did not bump into the waiter. He had a drink spilling already on the tray and went over on me and there was a second drink that spilled over my arm while I was walking through after that, he apologized to me if I bumped into him why did he apologize to me you are just trying to cover up for it and not once did management come and ask me if I was OK and you offered me 15% off my bill when I went to go tell you what happen ……my shoes are damaged. They were white shoes and the red stains. Do not want to come off I had just bought my sweater cost me $65 for the sweater and it’s damaged too and there was hardly no customers around us. It was just me and the waiter. Down that aisle I did not bump into him so I wish you would stop lying stop covering up the story. Ps there was only the customer he was waiting on at that table and there was 1 couple that just arrived after the accident, so what customers? Are you referring to when I talk to your manager? She told me accidents happen like that all the time there’s nothing we can do about it. Oh I just noticed you’re saying that I bumped into the waiter. when I got up from the table. Apparently you are wrong I was coming from getting my food when this happened so I did not get up from the table....

Visited this place for a birthday; made a reservation for 10 people, they charged $5 per person during the reservation. We chose this place because we used to visit this restaurant when it first opened. The locations is nice, they’ve made some cosmetic improvements since when it first opened. Unfortunately we did not all have the best experience, first because our waitress was a bit rude. I had mentioned that I would be sharing a plate with my mom and she snapped by saying “you can’t do that, or else we’re going to have to charge you $30 dollars for watching the mariachi show.” The food was good, they do serve in large plates, the rice and beans taste old, but the main course was better. The aguas frescas, sadly are not freshly made which was disappointing. Yes, they have a Mariachi that plays, the singers did a good job, they have a couple that dances some folklorico, but other than that, the sound was really bad, it was faulty with feedback and it was way too loud. Also, it’s not a show. A Mariachi show is continuous and it’s interactive with the crowd. This Mariachi, with all due respect to the musicians, took long pauses which helped them by killing time. You are not allowed to take any decorations or cake if you are celebrating something. Luckily we still made a good time out of this experience, but our party agreed that this really wasn’t much worth it, and sadly we will not be returning.

The ambience was live and very happily. Right away we got a great table where we could see the stage and hear the wonderful performers.. Our waiter was extremely busy but he had wonderful manners and very attentive. Do not remember his name but had tattoos of stars on his neck. Took our drink and appetizer orders and those came out quickly. Our dinner orde gor placed after and it came out in a timely manner and they were really busy. Rhe tequila shot cart came by and they had a great variety of tequilas. Overall it was a wonderful experience, customer service was superb but make sure ypu come prepared to pay because it is pretty hefty and they take ypur pictures and sell roses for your dates . The only negative thought we have is from the impersonator of Juan Gabriel. I get it that is a happy ambience and all but ypu don't need to get wasted on the job. Towards the end he was stumbling and you could tell he was wasted. But can we talk about the Mariachi Band??? Fantastic!!! Not enough words to express how wonderful they were and how professionally they sang. Wonderful job !! I highly recommend it if you want to celebrate a birthday or a date💗

Located right off the 10 FWY off Puente Ave exit in the Home Depot shopping center with plenty of parking. Growing up in the area, I've been to Guadalajara Grill numerous times and have always been happy with every experience. Service is good, the restaurant is clean with beautiful Mexican traditional decor. Live Mariachi entertainment (which is part of the appeal of dining here) is included in their competitive and fair prices. I believe their shows are: Thursday and Friday starting at 7PM. Saturday starting at 3PM. Sunday Brunch starting at 9AM. If you plan to dine during the weekend evening hours, it's best to make reservations as they are prioritized, but note that you won't be seated until your ENTIRE party arrives. They have a weekday lunch buffet at $15.99 from 10AM - 2PM and Saturdays/Holidays at $20.99 from 9AM - 2PM with plenty of food items that include a "Taquiza" (Taco Bar). Happy hour is all-day Monday - Wednesday and on Thursday & Friday from 10AM - 6PM. Overall, I really enjoy this authentic Mexican restaurant every visit.
