While I was waiting for my order, I witnessed several employees and even the manager harass a person who was in the bathroom for a little more than ten minutes. The manager threatened to call the police on the person after unlocking another bathroom, which was available.
Rather than simply resolving the matter with the simplest solution (which they ended up doing anyway), they resorted to threats and shaming. I have never seen anyone get treated like that at ANY other Starbucks location, nor have I ever been treated like that myself. Horrible location, rude staff, an even more rude manager, and all around a complete waste of time.
If you insist on getting Starbucks, go to ANY other location possible even if it's not convenient. You'll save yourself from potentially having the cops called on you for simply using the bathroom. I had also heard the customer complaining to them about their order being made wrong after coming out, so there's that too. Apparently when you tell them that you have a lactose restriction, they ignore you and put milk in the drink anyway. I can only assume that's why the person was in the bathroom in the first place. To top it all off, when I decided to walk out of the store, I overheard the customer attempting to call what I assume was a corporate phone number to complain about the experience. I heard an answering machine tell the person that the number was disconnected! No accountability at this location whatsoever! Worst Starbucks...
Read moreRemarkable Staff! I’ve come daily for over a month to make sure I could leave this review in good faith. My need for special handling (nut allergy) tends to frustrate most Starbucks staff (I visit different Starbucks 2-3 times a day) Others roll their eyes, shame me and flat out ignore my special request. *But this Starbucks is beyond exceptional. * 99% of their staff treat me with the utmost kindness and understanding of my health issue… they give 200% extra special care when preparing my drink that instills the deep trust I so desperately hope for and allows me to drink my morning coffee safely without fear. The facility is clean and perfectly comfortable for working (loudness of music doesn’t overwhelm), easy parking, large outside patio, easy access to 10 fwy, Walmart, McDonald’s, Denny’s and Home Depot. I highly recommend for all of your coffee shop desires. They are the Platinum standard to which I hope all other Starbucks in the area could learn from… it would be great if other Starbucks sent their staff here to train. The employees here take pride in their job. They deserve Starbucks location of the year award. Thank you to every single one of you on site who’ve taken my fragile life into your hands and handled it with the utmost love and care… every morning. I appreciate you. Tips are definitely...
Read moreI've been a regular at this store since it first opened, and couldn't be happier. The staff are professional, courteous, and outgoing. They do live by their promise of "If you don't love it, let us know and we'll make it right."
The location has a decent sized lobby with a patio, Wi-Fi and drive-through; but all power receptacles are indoors, making plugging in your notebook or other devices a challenge since plug spaces are at a premium.
Despite some critical reviews (which I attribute to the fact that this store is known to train new hires for high-capacity/fast-paced ordering quite frequently), the entire crew are like one big family and are very welcoming. I suppose you just need to develop the right rapport is all.
Now, I'm not saying these guys don't make mistakes, because they do (even with my same drink, day-in and day-out) - but that doesn't mean they won't fix a new drink if you tell them the problem. As for the supposed attitude problem, they're people too, and they get a lot of flak for trying to do their job in a timely manner; especially during the rush-hours of opening, lunch, and evenings. Perhaps the negative reviews were simply a bad one-off experience, as I haven't had any problems with this store in over 15 years.
In a nutshell, this place can be a home...
