I went on Sunday for lunch with my wife and son. I ordered the riblets. I seen the commercial on TV and they looked so good, they showed a nice big plate of riblets with fries.
What I was served was absolutely disgraceful. I was served 4 little strips of riblets which took 30 mins to heat up. When the waitress brought back a refill on my soda I told her to immediately put in another order as there was very little meat on the riblets. So I waited patiently for another 15 mins and this time I am served only 2 little strips of riblets . So I order another plate of riblets and after another 15 mins. This time I am served 1 and a half riblets. What a joke. Every Riblet I have been served so far should of been on 1 plate.
If you have ever eaten a riblet, you would know there is very little meat on one; I was served a total of 7 1/2 riblets equivalent to 2 good baby back ribs and i waited a total of 60 mins.
I felt totally ripped off . When they say all you can eat. They do not tell you how little they serve at a time and how long you have to wait.
I felt totally duped and again totally ripped off. I would of been better off going to Arbys for lunch or just flushing my money down the toilet. We left the restaurant after sixty mins because my Wife and 10 year old son finished their lunch 30 mins before me and this is exactly what Applebees banks on
As I said we went in for lunch, there was only a handful off tables they were not busy. I can only assume its the manager being a cheap skate . I will be sure to tell everybody I know about my horrible experience at this restaurant.
$12.99 plus tax for a plate of aggravation.
I say too everyone please please please do not order this plate from this...
Read moreIf I can give them zero stars I would. I went today with my teenage son because loves the boneless wings there. We ordered the 2 for 35 deal which already came with boneless wings for me and I ordered the unlimited wings for my son. I unfortunately had the rudest and most condescending server there (I think her name started with a V). After I ordered the unlimited boneless wings she warned me that if we share we will be charged twice. I told her I’m not worried because I’m not a big fan of the wings anyway and I’m only getting them for my son. She then says again I’m going to be WATCHING you. I said ok fine watch me. She went to place the order in computer and I can hear her talking to the manager about us and that we need to be watched. After this, she proceeded to tell any server or waiter in my area to watch us and that we needed to watched in case we shared. When she brought the drinks I confronted her about this and she said flat out that “yes we all need to be watching you”. I told her cancel my entire order because i felt I was being stereotyped and I highly doubt they watch everyone who orders off the unlimited menu. When I told her to cancel my food she started yelling “OK BYE BYE”. She is an absolute vile human being and honestly ruined my entire day. I hope she has the week...
Read moreSamantha made us feel like we’re being rushed to eat and go! We weren’t notified of any special entrees for this time of year and we weren’t asked if we wanted dessert……..which we did, but not if it was a burden. Samantha wasn’t mean or anything but you could tell she was in a hurry when dealing with my party…….of 2.
She asked us if we were ready for our bill and we said no but 3 minutes later she brought it anyway. Then when we paid as she walked off she said something to the extent of now she could leave or now she was done while still within earshot. At that point we no longer wanted to be there so no drinks would be ordered and neither would dessert so we left.
I can understand when it’s time to go you want to go but a customer should never feel like they’re a burden or that you wish they would hurry up and leave. We’re literally how you get paid and stay in business. And then to confirm our suspicions with her comments was very unprofessional.
To the manager on duty: please have the host/hostess sit customers at tables with waiters/waitresses who don’t mind working. To the wait staff: if you don’t want to wait on people why are you in...
