I would NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. I was in their store on Thursday 6/2/2016. We wanted to purchase two shrimp meals (shrimp, potatoes, and onions). A cook who was rude and ghetto not to mention she had a bedroom scarf tied on her head said that it was called a shrimp special. Listening to the cook we placed a order for two shrimp specials. While waiting for the order we requested butter and the same rude cook said they couldn't sell us butter because you don't eat butter with shrimp all we needed was the cocktail sauce. So I was very confused on how she could tell us how to eat OUR FOOD THAT WE PURCHASED. She wouldn't sell us butter, so we had to walk across the street to purchase the butter that we wanted from a DIFFERENT CRAB PLACE. After receiving our orders we noticed we received 2 HUGE containers of JUST SHRIMP. I told the cashier who was also RUDE! The order was messed up. He then yelled at the rude cook, that's why I tell y'all, stay y'all asses from the front of the counter! The cashier agreed to give us a partial refund and provide the onions and potatoes we originally requested. After waiting 25 mins for potatoes and onions I got to the car and realized THE POTATOES WAS STILL HARD AND RAW. . I went back to the Rude cashier who was a male( acted like the Co-Owner) and explained to him I was given RAW FOOD.. He then told me because I RUSHED HIM, that's why I was served RAW FOOD. I waited 25 mins for potatoes and onions. Never once did I rush his process!!!!!!! Not to mention he WASNT THE ONE COOKING!!! So how could that be the EXCUSE FOR SERVING A PAYING CUSTOMER RAW FOOD!!!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE. The RUde male cashier then ignored my request of a refund for the potatoes and onions and took the next customer. THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT SAT IN A CORNER ON HIS CELL PHONE WHILE HIS STORE WAS IN COMPLETE KAOS!!!! I even explained to THE OWNER how my food was messed up over and over again!!! And he took NO INITIATIVE TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!! While waiting for my potatoes and onions for the 2nd TIME, the cooks then decided that my problem was their entertainment so they began RUDELY LAUGHING AND GIGGLING AS IF THINGS LIKE THIS WAS THE NORM FOR THIS BUSINESS. 15 mins later I was given more RAW potatoes and onions with the OWNER TELLING ME COME BACK AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF ME!!!! I was outraged!!! The manager was so laid back while his store was in kaos, I can see why the cashier(possible co owner ) had no respect for the employees. He cussed at them which was also IN FRONT OF PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS PROFESSIONAL!!!! I don't understand how could I come Back for the Owner to take care of me the second time when he COULDNT TAKE CARE OF ME THE FIRST TIME!!! THEIR NO REFUND POLICY ALLOWS THEM TO TREAT AND SERVE CUSTOMERS ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE COMFORT OF KNOWING THEY WONT BE GIVING YOU MONEY BACK REGARDLESS!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Unsanitary!!! Read moreToday I had a taste for some kind of seafood sub so I traveled down to crab Alley which if you're not familiar is where you have a series of Crab houses on both sides of the street pretty popular seafood area. When I Entered the restaurant called best crabs which is not written on the building at all I had to find the name to write this review of my disappointment of my first and last experience with that restau rant and its owner l love all the changes Baltimore has made in order to cater bike and scooter riders . I own a couple of folding electric scooters And until today no business has asked me to leave my scooter outside including giant Safeway shoppers McDonald's KFC Popeyes Sung gas station Sunoco gas station no store or business has ever asked me to leave my scooter outside and if you ride through you'll see that is not a neighborhood that wouldn't want to leave anything outside , so the person I believe to be the owner did not ask but told me to take my scooter outside and then before I can say anything turn them walked away and close the door I started to speak to the employee promising him that I would keep it in my hands and not attach the floor that I really did not want to leave my $300 scooter outside the door in that area He quietly agreed and start taking my order for oyster sub and two backfin crab cakes Mind you the whole time I am not sure of the first personality so I'm asking if you just want me to leave and not leave my scooter outside so after my order was taken the owner came from behind a door and with the raised voice order me to leave again and told me hit the policy with no bikes scooters or skateboards allowed in store which of course I looked for any kind of signage and there was none . I cannot or will not say that the owner was racist in his actions towards me since I was the only person in the restaurant he could be just a real jerk . When I Entered a couple of stores in the immediate area no one had anything good to say. one thing I was told was that If to buy a soda he wouldn't even sell you a Unless you buy crabs from him ! Read moreDO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT BEST CRAB!!!! This was my 4th time visiting best crab and the last 2 times I purchased a condiment that they sell exclusively called “Bomb Sauce”. Today I attempted to purchase the sauce but was denied. The 1st restriction that I was given was that I couldn’t purchase the sauce by itself. I told the manager that restriction wasn’t posted anywhere in the store but bc I promised my kids that we would have bomb sauce I was willing to make a purchase. He then told me that I had to buy at least 1 lb of crab legs which total $25/lb, I agreed to do that even though I already have crab legs at home. Then the manager told me that I couldn’t buy more than one cup of the sauce, another restriction that is not posted ANYWHERE! Then I was told that I had to make a “hard crab order” at this point I am highly irritated bc I have never bought hard crab bc me and my kids only eat the crab legs and the last 2 times that I bought the sauce I did so with my crab leg purchase NOT CRABS! It is clear that the “manager” was making up rules in order to prevent me from purchasing the sauce. Every time that I have ordered from this place I have spent more than $80 each time yet this time I was refused service bc I wasn’t willing to spend more money on their crab legs today. I have never experienced service like this before. It is really frustrating that in baltimore city customers are treated as if we are stupid, and uneducated.
