Corner Carryout — Restaurant in Baltimore

On 4/13/16 at approximately 8:20PM I visited the Corner Carryout. I ordered the pig feet dinner hoping I could eat right away. I prefer the Pig Feet meal. The meal Comes with one pig foot and two sides. When I got home I realized the pig's foot was severely under cooked. It was very tough. The USDA says that pork has to be cooked at atleast 145 Degrees Fahrenheit. This obviously wasn't achieved if the pork was still raw. I tried to call the Carry Out but it was 9:05 and the store had just closed at 9PM. So I called this morning at about 11AM. I asked to speak to a manager. So I was put on hold and another lady answered the phone. She said that the only way they would be able to handle the issue is if I still had the pig's foot so they could show their cooks. I was obviously very hungry. When I discovered that the pig's foot was undercooked I cooked it for another 2 hours so I did not have the pig foot anymore. The lady said that there's nothing she could do. She hung up. I called back to get her name. She did not give her name. She also said that she wasn't even the manager. Then she hung up again. I called back a third time where I was put on hold for 5 minutes before the lady even said anything on the phone. I didn't appreciate the way the situation was handled. I've been to the store 3 times in the past 2 weeks and I just don't think it's fair to a regular customer or any customer to experience what I have. I am not satisfied with the service or the food from my recent visit.

FOOD POISONING 12/02/2024 Coworker and I decided to grab some turkey club sandwiches from here today via doordash. Picked through the first set- didnt see much. Went to eat the second set and immediately could smell rotting food. I have a culinary degree and experience with food. When deli meat is rotten it begins to smell "fruity" almost due to the presence of bacteria and mold. Looked down and there were blue/green spots all throughout the meat in both trays of sandwiches. We both had to leave work due to stomach aches. FYI!!!!! Have family that works for the health department. Sent pictures and filed a complaint as well. This place needs to be closed down for good. They dont care what they are feeding us black folks as long as...

The breakfast was hot & fresh. The breakfast platter is a decent size with good portions. They serve breakfast, lunch, & dinner items. The customer service wasn't all that spectacular the guy (1 of the owners) that waited on me was not courteous or welcoming. Maybe he was having a bad day idk but a simple "thank you" would've been appreciated we spent $30. I was the only person in the equation with manners that alone makes me think about why I shouldn't spend my money at the Corner Carryout. First impression is everything. I was cordial and polite but this was my last visit 🤷🏽‍♀️✌🏽✌🏽 Times too hard to support the wrong businesses....
