So, I was today’s years old (12/28) when I found out that The Village of Cross Keys even existed. This location is so elegantly trendy and I will definitely be back in the Spring to experience the outdoor eating scene. Now back to the restaurant. This place was chosen by a friend to have her birthday brunch. Party of 13. The place was PACKED on a Saturday morning, which was a good sign that the food was good. We did not wait long to be seated. Our waiter was polite & patient. Sorry I forgot his name but he did a great job of explaining the menu items. With a party our size I was surprised that everyone’s meal came out at the same time AND was still hot, impressive!! Shout out to the cooks who got it all done. Some of us had been before and some had not, this was my first time. I wanted the Shrimp & Grits but the roux has pork products already in it, so I opted for Fried Chicken & Grits, scrambled eggs, home fries & white toast. I was expecting the grits to come spread out on a platter but they showed up in a cup scooped like ice cream and I doubted them instantly. BUT!! After digging in and taking that first bite I was so wrong!!! Those were some of the creamiest & cheesiest grits I’ve ever eaten, cooked to perfection, not grainy or lumpy, just thick, rich & plain GOOD. The chicken was seasoned well and so were the home fries. We ordered the Mimosa Sampler which came with a bottle of Prosecco and 3 purées: Peach Lavender, Passion Fruit & Orange. The mimosas were great. I think I found my newest favorite brunch spot. Not one complaint around the table, just good food, good drinks & good company!! You’ve got to get in there. Expect for it to be crowded but the atmosphere is light & fun.

I had a lovely experience here. Easy Like Sunday does not take reservations, so I was hopping when I drove to Baltimore, they were not going to say they were at capacity for the day or that I would have to wait too long. I came by myself, so I had the opportunity to sit at the counter or the bar, so I chose the counter. They were extremely busy, as I expected they would be. The only con of my experience was having to wait several minutes for a waitress to come over to me, but after she did, everything else was perfect! Keep in mind, I knew it was busy, so I knew it would take a second for someone to come over to me. I wish I got my waitresses’ name. She was really nice and made great recommendations. I really enjoyed her energy. I was stuck between getting the crab melt or the french toast but she let me know I could do a half order of french toast, so that’s exactly what I did and also got the crab melt. The buttery taste of the toasted bun on the crab melt was delicious and there was absolutely no filler in the crab. It was 5 oz. of straight up crab meat and it was delicious. The french toast was also good and the perfect level of sweetness. I also got the sunday love to drink, which includes citrus vodka, elderflower liqour, strawberry basil, lemon, Prosecco, and a sugar rim. Definitely my type of cocktail. Perfectly sweet and the alcohol was hitting lol. Everything I ordered also came out in timely manner even with them because very busy. I also liked the casual yet cute vibe of the restaurant. I will be returning soon to try some more items on their menu or honestly get the exact same order because it was really good lol.

After returning from vacation, my fiancé and I decided to visit Easy Like Sunday, a popular restaurant in Baltimore. Nestled in one of the most beautiful spots in the city, the community surrounding it is fantastic, adding tremendous value to the experience. It’s worth noting that before Easy Like Sunday opened, this location was home to an Iron Rooster, and the transformation has been impressive. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful atmosphere. The upgrades to the facility have really enhanced the ambiance, earning it a solid 9 out of 10. The customer service was magnificent as well—there was minimal wait time, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making it a perfect 10 out of 10 for their service. While the food pricing seemed a bit steep—$15 for just two pieces of French toast—the portion sizes were generous, especially in comparison to the price (excluding the French toast). However, I would rate the food at a 6.8 out of 10. Personally, I found it lacked the flavor I was hoping for. As someone who enjoys cooking, I often look for a variety of flavors and seasonings in my meals. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich but struggled to identify the seasonings used in the chicken batter. Coming back from a vacation in a country with less robust seasoning, I found the taste a bit underwhelming. That said, I would certainly consider visiting Easy Like Sunday again. I believe it’s a great spot for anyone—especially visitors from out of town—looking for a beautiful community, lovely ambiance, and friendly staff. It’s definitely worth a try!

I'm gonna go head and give this place 5 stars it deserves ✨️ From the hostess station, to the ambiance, to the Rustic decor, to the fast and professional service, clean bathrooms, simple but all you need menu. My daughter had the ginger/turmeric tea and chicken sausage, eggs (soft, medium, or hard is what the waitress asked which was a chef's 💋 in itself), cheese grits, and some yummy looking toast. I try Crabcake Benedict whenever I see it on the menu in MARYLAND (let's be clear). 😉 It did not disappoint! I was hesitant when the plate came out but that BITE, THAT BITE, THAT BITE, was full of all the flavors, herbs, and seasonings. If you don't know how to lay that food on a fork to prep the BITE, watch a Chef show because you are certainly doing yourself a disservice. Chef's kiss 💋 on the every morsel of food that warmed my soul on TUH'DAY. I don't remember our waitress' name but, thank you for your extraordinary service! It's rare to see a business that hits on every cylinder from the hostess station and every detail in between. I will be back every time I visit Maryland. Do yourself a favor, choose this experience! ❤️💃🏾😋

Easy Like Sunday is a true gem in Baltimore's dining scene! From the moment we stepped in, we were embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that felt both cozy and stylish. The décor perfectly balances laid-back vibes with elegant touches, making it a spot where you can truly unwind and enjoy. The food was absolutely stellar – every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Tasha H., our wonderful server, went above and beyond with her warm, attentive service. She made spot-on recommendations that took our dining experience to the next level, showcasing her deep knowledge of the menu. Her passion and professionalism added a personal touch, making us feel like we were the only guests in the house. From start to finish, Easy Like Sunday exceeded every expectation. This is the kind of place that feels like a special treat but has an inviting charm that makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that’s simply unforgettable! #ankseetheworld #techietreksandtreats #hiddengem #dmvfoodie #foodexplorers

The location is hidden but not hard to find. We went on a Sunday morning around noon, and the wait was 45 min. After waiting to be seated, the food was basic at best. Nothing was outstanding, and I probably won't wait nearly an hour to eat here again. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. We sat inside as it was first available. The inside is a bit cramped. There is plenty of sitting outside as you wait to be called. Now on to the food, I had the Lil Bit of Everything, with French toast and cheesy grits. The French toast was pretty tasty. I give them that. Let's talk about the portion of grits it was 2 tablespoons at best not and they were super thick. The bacon was decent nice thick cut. The drink menu was ok. I had to request a Sangria. There is a mimosa sampler if that's your thing. I requested a white sangria got a red but it was good none the less. The service was quick and attentive, which is a plus. The place is definitely instagram worthy for a visit, and I can say I have been. Overall, I probably won't be back as the food wasn't memorable.
