Always Ice Cream Company Cross Keys — Restaurant in Baltimore

Should be called “Never Ice Cream” Although it was a hot summer afternoon, the place was nearly empty. I decided to give it a try. I waited patiently for about ten minutes as two employees slowly assisted the three customers ahead of me (making a milkshake, answering questions about ice cream cakes, etc.). When it was finally my turn, the remaining staff member on the floor walked right past me without so much as eye contact or a greeting and started to head into the back. Delicious ice cream! Easy parking. Kind employees. Lots of treat options. It costs what you would expect the Cross Keys ice cream spot to cost ;) Which is a bit much. The Banana Pudding Nutella and Snickers flavors are both as scrumptious one would hope! (The chocolate dipped belgian waffle ice cream sandwich was a bit bland, but my palette was already saturated by the other flavors so that may have impacted my evaluation. It would definitely be a great treat for someone looking for a less sugary sweet treat than a loaded ice...

This was my first visit to this location. It is kind of isolated which makes it not too busy. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They weren’t very busy while I was there, yet the customer service was okay. We weren’t neglected, but I didn’t feel welcomed. They had a great list of dairy and vegan offerings, although we found our ice cream to be a little crystallized, not quot to the quality that I would expect for the price. I might try it again...
