Falls Road Carryout Pizza — Restaurant in Baltimore

Authentic neighborhood sub shop with a great menu and food like no other in the area. I've been meaning to stop by this place for sometime. My brother and I are doing a construction job down the street so this was the perfect opportunity to stop in and try the food here. The girls running the counter and kitchen are the nicest we've encountered in awhile. Nice local neighborhood girls. They spoke with us, joked around, took our order and got it to us with a quick turnaround. It's nice to see there are still places with employees with personality and engage in conversation. Tip the girls well they deserve it!! The food is great at this place!! The first day we or ordered subs, fries and strawberry shortcake dessert. Everything was so good that we came back today and ordered the wings. Again a grand slam!! And despite it being so busy they still had time to say hello speak with us and we're very friendly. That goes a long way with us and that's why I'm writing this review. If you're in the area and want exceptional carryout food (subs, wings, sandwiches etc) for the price you cannot beat it. I’ve been eating at Falls Road Carryout for a few decades now and I hadn’t had a made meal from there (except for the fact that that they used to wrap the subs so the cheese in the cheesesteak stuck to the paper) until my most recent order in June and July 2022. Apparently the place was sold and the new owners have their own ideas about what products to purchase. I have one piece of advice: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ve never left a comment on a public forum and that should be an indication of how disappointed I am by the quality of the food I purchased. And how does a sub shop run out of tomatoes? The cheesesteak I purchased yesterday was so greasy it soaked through the wrapper - the entire wrapper, not just in certain spots. The chicken in the chicken Parmesan was overcooked and the sun roll burned around the edges.

Not going back there again in the near future. Hopefully a couple months hiatus will give the new owners the time to realize that something’s should just be left alone to run without...

I and 3 coworkers placed an order over the phone for delivery at 11:10 a.m. the targeted delivery 11:33 a.m. and 11:53 a.m. the food arrived at 1:03 p.m. and was still missing items. Be mindful the order totaled 25.84 then they added 1.59 for tax, 1.00 credit card charge, and 1.50 delivery charge leaving a total of 28.93. Items were missing and they offered a 5.00 credit and then came back at 1:03 p.m. with the missing item. The customer services was horrible, the staff argued back and forth with the customer, laughed at the fact we were upset about our for 20 minutes and asked us not to order from them again.
