We have seen this restaurant many times in passing, but never stopped in, parking is streetside and limited, then saw there is parking behind, opportunity has arrived.

The first view was a huge fruit bearing fig tree and a cozy little courtyard, which is really nice.

We went in and ordered an Italian cold cut sub, oh so fresh! The sub roll was perfect and huge. It was topped with Italian dressing. I ordered the Chicken Parm sub and asked for the roll to be toasted. This was a good decision to keep the sauce where it belonged. This normally comes with mozzarella cheese, I chose Provolone, a $0.50 upcharge, and it was worth it. It needed a bit more attention, the have the holy Italian trilogy ready: hots, oregano, and parmesan. Now it's perfect.

Plenty of dining space inside and outside.

Good size servings for the money. Additionally, they do a robust carryout business.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, a good thing to have representing a business. Also, menu specials are listed on the menu.

OMG what can I say. I had a bad experience the day before from another restaurant that served spaghetti. However, I still had a taste to have some more. ( I had to throw the other away)

I happen to be in the Parkville area and looked up spaghetti near me and up pops Giovanna's. I saw all these great reviews so I decided to give this place a try.

I must say that I'm blown away. I ordered spaghetti and a slice of pizza. I ate the slice on my way home and the cashier told the truth, the dough was very good. I would've added more cheese, but it still was great like it was.

Got home to heat the spaghetti. I was all ready to add some seasoning until I took a taste test. It was seasoned to perfection. It was so good, it reminded me of my grandfather's spaghetti.

This was the best spaghetti I've had in years.

Just to top off everything. The staff were super nice. I will make that 25 min ride back there just to get food that I know will be...

Pros: With costs going up everywhere, this place was a good value. We fed 8 people with a variety of foods including pizza, kid's meals, sides, and a sub and didn't have to spend 80 to 100 to do it. The garlic bread was actual bread (some of these types of places use sub buns so we appreciated the slices. And I think there 4 in the order.) The Italian cold cut sub was good with fresh bread. The other members of my party enjoyed the pizza. (It wasn't the greatest of all time and a had a sweet sauce, but I think they would get it again). Cons: The order took close to an hour. Now I actually wouldn't mind that on a weekend night except we were told 15 to 25 min. So they need to be more realistic. The fries were cold like not warm at all. So they must have been sitting while something else cooked. Overall, I think we will return but we won't be driving out of our way to get it. And we would plan for maybe 45 min to an hour if it's a...

Giovanna’s is probably one of my favorite pizza spots around Baltimore. It is a nice little family owned pizza restaurant. The pizza is very good probably one of the better pizzas in the area with a nice sweet sauce and sweeter dough. Everything on their menu is at least decent this includes their gravy fries mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and garlic bread. However the best thing about Giovanna’s is their extremely reasonable prices as it is probably one of if not the most reasonably priced restaurant. We got all of this food and a drink for 37$! So If you have not yet had Giovanna’s I would most definitely recommend it.

My family and I have been going here for year. After today we and my neighbors won’t be back… I ordered a cheese fish sub being as though they only give you 1 fish square on a sandwich… Well the cheese fish sub with all that bread had 1 piece of fish cut in half… that’s unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous… anywhere else in this area would give you 2 squares… never again. Ridiculous the sun was just nasty… the onion weren’t well done as I asked, no napkins, no forks, no ketchup for my fries… this is all the stuff I asked for… this was a waste of money… EAST PERRY WOULD NEVER…
