What a mess. When I arrived, there was a police vehicle with emergency lights spinning that blocked the drive-thru lane, so I circled around to park in the parking lot. But when I got out of my car, I saw the policeman move his car. I got back into my car and proceeded up the (mostly empty) drive thru line. There were few cars ahead of me at the two order kiosks because no one could get in earlier. I selected one of the kiosks and waited on line there until I could pull up to the speaker/microphone for ordering, and then... nothing. At the other kiosk, I watched one car after another place their orders and go to the pick up window. Still, no voice at my kiosk. There had been a person ahead of me, but I didn't notice if they were able to order, and there was a person behind me waiting to order. After four or five minutes, I gave up and drove back around to the parking lot and went inside the restaurant to order. When I got inside, there was a small group of people plus two individuals who appeared to have ordered already (they had drinks in their hands), but there was no one at a register to take more orders. Eventually a cashier came and delivered an order to one of the customers and about half the food order for the group that was waiting. Then she disappeared again without saying a word to anyone. Meanwhile there were two people ahead of me, and a third came in and negotiated his way into the crowd so that he could try to order ahead of me. So many things might have gone wrong before I arrived (police activity? Insufficient staff? COVID issue?) But no one was talking to me nor to the others who were waiting. No one explained what was going on or how long the wait might be. Eventually, exasperated and hungry, I gave up and left the restaurant. Very...
Read moreThe only McDonalds that will give you what they want instead of what you ask for. I've only been 3 times in my 7 months living in that area because everytime i go i have a horrible experience. My first bad experience i asked for a grilled snack wrap with no cheese via drive-thru, the young lady who took my order didn't turn her Mic off when i completed my order and i heard the young man in the kitchen state in a frustrating tone "Man i aint makin that over yo" implying he had already put cheese on it and that he wasn't redoing my snack wrap...it was given to me at the 2nd window with cheese on it. I gave it back and told the young lady i heard what that boy said and that he should keep comments like tht to himself...my snack wrap was remade and i received a piece of grilled chicken the size of a chicken nugget...i promply asked for a refund of my entire meal. and my most recent which was 10mins ago i asked for fries well done the young man in the drive thru replied "ard i gotchu" after i repeated it the second time. needless to say, i received regular luke-warm fries and watered down sweet tea.
As an ex Mcdonalds employee, I'm here to tell you that your job isn't complicated at all...just give ppl what they ask for. you have an "Al a Carte" button that gives you special options. and you have pictures!! why is it so hard to use it and follow it?? why is it so hard to give a customer what they asked for, or shall i say WHAT THEY PAID FOR??? I did fine at Mcdonalds.. I worked every line...stop making your job hard. Just give the customer what they came for, great fast food and great customer...
Read moreJust horrible. My first time here. As I waited over 30 minutes for my order. I witnessed every other customers order and every order was slow, incorrect, and every interaction had very poor customer service. The staff really did not understand that if you don't have time to do it right then you must have time to do it again. Those are the only three things you have to do in fast food and they all did them horribly. It's appears to be understaffed. This could be a one-off or normal. One employee was apologetic but soon became frustrated and just as rude as the other employees. This may be a one-off but, I fear that it's indicative of a much larger problem. If I was a manager here, or better yet a regional manager and this store fell under my management. I would be doing some serious serious digging and be concerned for my employment. It was really that horrible of an experience. I'm accounting for this being a McDonald's. I can only assume that this McDonald's may be doing well based on his high-traffic location and lack of other options. I'm actually writing this from a place of sympathy rather than frustration. Please beware if you come to this McDonald's do not do so in a hurry you will be here for a long time, your order will not be correct, and when you complain about it or not you'll be met with rudeness. I do understand that it wasn't the staffs fault they seem quite frustrated and very very understaffed however, it was I and other customers who were the true recipients of some very bad mismanagement...
