I was taken here on a date last night. I'm almost never full from a meal out! This place will sell you REAL food. I almost never see long grain rice properly cooked in restaurants. In the curry, in the sausage peppers, beans and rice. So good! The bar fair was done right as well. The jerk chicken tots have cheese and chicken layered in the perfect ratios keeping the tots crispy till the end. I loved dipping them in the shrimp mango curry (not pictured). Drinks were a great value and suuuuuper tasty. The staff was extremely kind. This place truly is a treasure and definitely goin to be a neighborhood staple for me.

Honestly, 5 stars isn’t enough. The food was outstanding and authentic. The yuca bites and the jackfruit flatbread were my favorite. I’m not a huge drinker but if you are they have some great options for that. Everyone at my table raved about the drinks. I love that they have different seating areas depending on what vibe you’re going for that day. Their ordering system it my favorite as it allows you time to really look at the menu without having to wait for a server to come once you’ve made your decision. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Baltimore this long and never been!

It was my 1st time checking out this spot for a comedy show. The staff is really friendly & the food is delicious (I had a spicy mango shrimp curry with brown rice). The only downer is that It's card-only which sucks If you're used to paying in cash & their signature drinks could use some work (I had something called a side chick which had hot sauce in it 🤢)

The bartender was unquestionably friendly and approachable. You'll feel welcomed and attended to. The bar is well lit and clean. However, the bar is poorly stocked. The online photos of the menu items are beautiful versus the sub-par plates I was presented with. The rice was noticably undercooked and the potatoes were unacceptably hard to an almost crispness. These two factors ruined both of those plates. The salmon cake was mostly canned meat, but standard. The roti with jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with a nice heat, but over-mixed so the texture was a little too mushy. Overall, the place has potential. . . but I have no faith in continuity or reliability. I believe this to be a tight margin of food operation. However, if you can't even cook rice correctly or even fork-test a cut potato before serving it, you'll never be successful. It'd be a lovely place to be a regular at, but I have no intention on wasting my money again for something I can make better at home. Fix it, . . . but...

I've been eyeing this place in Pigtown for what feels like forever. Their limited hours always seemed to clash with my schedule, so imagine my excitement when I saw they were not only open but hosting an improv show! Talk about perfect timing. We rolled up and were immediately charmed by the atmosphere – way bigger than I expected! The improv show was a riot. Sure, there were a couple of clunkers (it's improv, folks!), but the overall energy was hilarious. I'm a big believer that laughter heals, and Pigtown could definitely benefit from a healthy dose of giggles. But here's what really sealed the deal for me – these folks host food giveaways for the unhoused. It's heartwarming to see a business genuinely caring for the community. This spot injects a much-needed dose of fun and compassion into the neighborhood. If you haven't checked it out, do yourself a favor and go get those laughs in! Fyi..They don't...

I just hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here and the experience from start to finish was EXCELLENT! Candice was great to work with, designing a buffet menu and a space arrangement that worked with my party theme (murder mystery party for ~35 guests). We had the whole top floor and the vibes were immaculate and they set up the room exactly to my specifications and even made a couple changes on the fly (thank you!). I heard from so many people how great the food was — personally I LOVED the meatballs and the okra. Guests loved the wings, mac n cheese, channa masala, and sausage & rice especially. We had good drinks, friendly service, and an altogether wonderful time. Thanks so much to the Old Major team for making the...
