China Garden — Restaurant in Baltimore

I've been a customer of theirs for years. The first time my mom and I started going here, an older couple were running the place. I'm not sure if the younger ones are related to them.

Cons: The outside of the eatery is extremely dirty. People waiting outside of the store to ask for change. My mom literally complains about their shrimp egg foo young all the time because the patties are burned and gravy is reused. A customer asked them why does it seem like every month their prices go up. Of course they said it's because everything has gone up but the customer had a point. Their menus don't always match to the prices when you get to the register.

Pros: Friendly service. Their wings are one of the best in the area. (They're better than Hollins Market. Bigger and more flour on them) Versatile menu. Good for vegetarians and otherwise. Hefty servings. You can literally have lunch and dinner...

This is definitely a hidden gem of Baltimore!!!! The staff were very pleasant on the phone and when we arrived to pick up our food. They also honored the lunch special prices even though they said we called after the specials were over. We ordered General Tso’s chicken, Shrimp Mei Fun and Shrimp and Broccoli and every single dish was amazingly fresh!! We will definitely be patronizing this establishment again!! Typical Chinese food experience. I don’t indulge often but on occasion I will. Chinese food isn’t the greatest food to me anyway but if I indulge I patronize China Garden. Parking is ok, the same is ok, and there is no seating. You can see them cook the food which is the reason I patronize.
