Owner: stares at me, grabs the bag from my hand and starts fumbling with the receipt
Me: (nervously) I don’t think it was anyone’s fault, I order from you guys a lot and it’s always good!
Owner: hands me a new receipt I have refunded your purchase. You can leave now.
Me: (confused) oh! Okay… b-but, could you just make me a new one? I’m happy to pay for it.
Owner: No. Because it will be the same.
Me: But if it were always like that then I wouldn’t order here…
Owner: No. It’s always like this.
Me: (shocked) So… i should just never order from you again?
Owner: Yes.
Me: Wait, for real? That’s it?
Owner: That’s it. You can leave.
So I left. And cried in my car lol. Mind you I’ve been in the service business for 20 years and would never dream of giving a restaurant a hard time. Accidents happen, it’s no big deal. But wow… I guess there really is a first time...
Read moreI am surprised there are so many negative reviews. I judge a pizza place by their plain pizza - a great pizza should start out delicious with just the dough, sauce and cheese. I can only speak to my own experiences, but I have never been disappointed by the pizza here. The pizza is always freshly made and the cheese is always mouth-watering. I also enjoy the free garlic dipping sauce with every pizza.
The stuffed shells I ordered once were OK but did not taste as fresh as the pizza. I always order carry-out since it is located near my work and they have carry-out specials which save $1-2, so I can’t comment on any delivery issues. The inside is kept clean but it is run-down. I first mistook the place for being shut down due to its sparse furnishings, but it is clearly not a restaurant- it is a kitchen with a counter to order food. Read moreI had an issue with a online delivery order that I called the store to try to resolve. The gentleman that answered the telephone was very gracious however he said that the manager would need to assist. The manager was very different, he was disrespectful, loud, rude, and consistently not listening. I ordered online for my child at the house but the food couldn't be delivered because the credit card and ID wasn't there. He was telling me that this is a policy that "all his customers" know about but it's not on the site. I was attempting to explain to him that I have ordered online from various Pizza Bolis stores and this is the first time I have ran into this policy, so assuming "his customers" know is not the best plan.
