I tried this place twice. The first time I went, I ordered pork fried rice, four fried chicken wings (but actually received five), a cheesesteak eggroll, and a half & half drink. I thought the fried rice had a nice flavor but found the rice to be mushy. The wings were small but tasted decent, the eggroll and drink were also decent. The second time I went, I ordered the bbq rib tips, a 6" cheesesteak, and regular fries. The cheesesteak had a good flavor but the bun was not toasted and there was not a lot of filing. The fries were not that good but edible, and the rib tips had a lot of inedible pieces. The menu is not updated so I attached a picture of the prices they have in their store.

My son found this place one day when we were looking for something different and decent to eat. Within the last two months, my son and I have eaten at Blessings Carryout more than a half a dozen times. I must say that I’m very picky about the food that I eat, but their food is delicious. It’s not far from John Hopkins hospital and right across the street from North East market place… They have a great lunch special menu. Today I got orange chicken with lo mein noodles, and shrimp egg foo yong with fried rice. My son and I shared both dishes and it was delicious as always. All for just $16.50.

EDIT (12/1/23): I just came back a year later to say the food is still good. My go to place for Chinese/American. The food is good, reasonably priced, great service and the location is always clean. It is a family owned business, and I’m always treated with respect. I absolutely love the half and half, fried wings, fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken cheesesteak, shrimp and broccoli, chicken and broccoli and egg foo yung. Any modifications I ask for, they always make it happen.

I ordered the jumbo fried shrimp and fried crab legs. They both have a moderately thick breading which made it hard to tell how jumbo the shrimp were. They are also butterfly cut to lay flat. However I could still taste the shrimp and they were both tasty with the cocktail dip. My son ordered one each shrimp and cheese steak egg roll and 3wings and fried rice. The only time he spoke was to say there weren't any shrimp in the shrimp egg roll. He found one shrimp...lol. The prices are reasonable. I've also had spicy shrimp fried rice. Just ask they to make it spicy and and specify if you want it a little spicy or hot. It added a nice little kick for me. Lots of...

Five star fried rice, 0 star General Tso’s chicken. Within a reasonable walking distance from Hopkins campus, not terribly expensive and you get a lot of food. Downside to that for me was that the entree I got ended up tasting mostly like shrimp (which the lady before me coincidentally ordered) and had a soft squishy texture that was quite unappetizing, I sampled different areas of the chicken pile to see if there were better spots but gave up. HOWEVER, the fried rice was really great, to the point where I will probably end up going back and just get the rice, maybe even roll the dice on some...
