Safari Grille & Game Lodge — Restaurant in Baltimore

I've been here a couple of times. Once for a friend's birthday. She reserved a cabana outside. Another time with a few friends. I haven't had their food. The drinks are good. My only complaint was the last time I visited, I was charged extra due to the bartenders doing different things. You can get one of their "smoothies" which is really a slushie with alcohol at a specific price up until a certain time. I ordered after that time so the 1st bartender told me it didn't come with alcohol (which is fine, as it's on the placard on the table). I already had a shot so I added it to the drink. I ordered a beer, and the smoothie with a shot added with a 2nd bartender. I specifically said I want to add a shot to the drink. She was asking me if it was okay that it was rail alcohol. I said sure. Which I thought was weird because she also asked what I wanted for the shot. She ended up charging me for the shot and the slushie with alcohol in it. The 3rd bartender I went to also explained that it does not come with alcohol when I ordered a 3rd drink. I went to whichever bartender was open, which is why I went to 3 different bartenders. They should work on what is and isn't offered. I think the 1st and 3rd bartenders were correct in that its alcohol free and you should ask to add a shot. It can be pretty tight on the inside. There are games in the far back. There is a dance floor as well as high table tops. The couch seating is reserved for VIP. Everyone is pretty much sitting on top of each other and people take chairs from tables and hold onto them. Other than that it can be a nice night out with friends. They serve food. Entry fee...

The Safari Club is large and beautiful. It is indoor and outdoor with several bars, a hookah space, a large VIP room with its own bar and separate seating, a comedy club, but I did not go in there, an extra large Pac-Man gaming machine.. other games that can be played.. pool tables, and there is sometimes a DJ indoors and Outdoors. The parking lot is large, it's on the grounds of a Best Western hotel and the bathrooms were fairly decent. The food look nice although I didn't eat but...

Nice place, but you have to be careful about how the waitresses and bartenders charge you. I just wanted one order of fries. The menu said $6.00, but the girl at the bar (black chick with glasses and a bun on top of her head) tried charging me $9.00, then got an attitude when I showed her their menu.
