I normally don't complain about food. I understand not it's like to work in the kitchen and be under the gun. I go to Wawa I quite a bit and this one I go to a couple times a week until recently. The quality of food and what's being served has gotten horrible this is the sandwich I bought today this is how it looked when I opened it. It's a sandwich so really I mean it was wrapped up you can't really complain about the book as much. But what got me was once again the bread was completely stale and when I say stale I mean stale. I cannot even believe they sold that. For years I worked in kitchens and I always tried to make the stuff the way I would want it for myself. The reason was because you want people to come back and you want people to enjoy it. I don't want to sell something to someone that I wouldn't buy for myself. When you go to a place like this you're on your way to work or you're on your way home and when something like this happens and your brightest fail because it's sat out for God knows how long, you don't get to get up from your job and go get something else. So basically you are stuck with this and I know it's not just me I just had enough aggravation to put the review in today. But a lot of us that work in the area are sick of the food that's coming out of there in the past 6 months. Read moreThe customer service was bad. When calling in they dont say, hello Wawa. They answer hello like a house phone or cell. They can never get a Uber Eats order correct. I love the pizza. It was burnt. I very upset. Another time it was sloppy and burnt this time. I even call in and request for management and give them the run down and can you please check order please. They said they would. One order I recieved whole bunch of hot sauce packets with my Italian cold cut. I never asked for them and of course bread hard. Another order same with bread. The sub was missing ingredients. I ask for a french vanilla coffee, they gave me regular black coffee no sugar no cream. I asked for cream and sugar to go in my French vanilla so even if I didn't get the French vanilla they still didn't give me cream or sugar. Several times I got subs and the bread was hard as a brick. Sandwiches was not made correctly. Not long ago I called to the store to ask if management can make sure order correct. She said she would make sure. After receiving food, I called back. Asked management was she back there when sandwhich was made she said she was. Either she was being smart by just throwing mayonnaise or the worker. It very messy and sloppy with of course hard bread thats why I ask for oil all over bottom and top to make sub moist and correct. My boyfriend was under the impression that I was withdrawing money to buy snacks at Wawa.
As he was selecting snacks, FOUR employees stood there and stared at us as if we were shoplifting. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES did either of us make any gesture, or behave suspiciously to give them reason to believe that we were doing anything but using the ATM.
I even said within earshot, "Remember, we planned on ordering dinner from Domino's, I don't have enough for snacks.". He immediately put everything away, but the employees all continued to stare, and wrote down our license plate number.
As someone who is an officer of the court, this is highly offensive, deliberate intimidation, not to mention discriminatory behavior.
I have been a DAILY customer of this location since 2015, and I spend at least $200 weekly between food and gas purchases.
There was absolutely no reason whatsoever for this type of intimidation tactic when no crime was committed, and there was no suspicious behavior.
Prior to my career in he legal system, I worked in Retail management for YEARS. Had an employee WITNESSED something being taken, this behavior would have been warranted. However, this was NOT the case.
