Very serious about fresh seafood which is cooked over real charcoal. Not a fancy designer place, but maybe the best seafood restaurant in Baltimore, and their lamb chops and steak over charcoal are top notch. If they have crabcakes, get them. One approach is to skip all veg sides (except hand-cut fried potatoes) and use that space for great apps like grilled octopus and nice desserts like galatamboureko.

Go for the food, not the ambiance. Simply prepared and fresh. Charcoal grill in the kitchen is something special that you can't find in other restaurants in this city. Highlights off the menu include the spit roasted pork which was tender, juicy and flavorful. Grilled Octopus piled high on the plate and fresh salads. Big portions and great place to split a few dishes between friends.

Delicious Greek food from local Greektown watering hole. Customers are all regulars from the area. We had the grilled octopus (a little dry but very tasty with vinegar/olive oil), dolmades (tasty and fresh), and lamb chops (some of the best lamb chops I’ve ever had) with homemade tsatziki and a Greek side salad. Everything was fantastic.

DECOR: This place is kind of a secret enclosure! From outside it is very small and as you enter, you will come across the bar counter that sits 10 people and you may think that there is hardly any place to sit. But the restaurant has another level upstairs that is quite spacious. The interior is simple but clean.

FOOD: We ordered the dolmades (appetizer), lamb chops (entree) and cream caramel and baklava (desserts). The dolmades were the best grape leaf recipe I have evers. The lamb chops were very very tasty and was accompanied with rice pilaf and tzatziki sauce. The rice pilaf was not great and I did not like it at all. The Baklava was horrible- it was like a big piece of dry, hard, fried bread with sugar syrup on it that was forcing it to become soft. Contrast to it was the creme caramel that was super delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. The portions are very good and whatever we had in total was more than enough for 2 people.

PRICE: An affordable place depending upon what all you order. The lamb chops were expensive. Avg price is $20-25 per person.

SERVICE: The atmosphere is very laid back. There is only one waitress serving all the guests on the top floor. Although she keeps enquiring about the food and tries her best to be quick, she is slow in attending (each glass of water and silverware arrives after 15 mins).

My ratings are only for the dolmades, lamb chops...

A friend recommended this place so I’m not sure what went wrong aside from ordering delivery vs going in person. I expect the food to not hold pristine quality after traveling in a car for a period of time, but we paid $100+ for dinner and I’m still hungry because we couldn’t eat several dishes 😭 Gyro was bland and fatty (also pork?) The restaurant was out of some items and substituted for others without notifying us. Ex. We ordered the eggplant dip and it came with potato slices instead of pita? The grape leaves were as dry as the desert and I’m sorry, but they were honestly inedible - I think the meat was bad?? It was also drenched in a thick cheesy sauce that only made it worse. Baklava was a brick. $35 octopus was good but based on other dishes I’m worried about the aftermath. I’m not one to rant but I was truly shocked by the inconsistency and lack of quality across MULTIPLE dishes. Hopefully the in person experience is better, but we won’t be taking...

I can't say I have anything bad to say about this place. Every time we dine here the food is good and the hospitality is even better. And the food is priced fairly well. Some may complain about the pricing and I would too if I had six mouths to feed. :/ Suggest you stay at home and it would be more affordable. I feel for you. Several dishes that they prepare look and taste the same as when I visited Greece. I love the salads and its a nice size serving and always fresh. And my all time favorite is the grilled octopus. The texture and flavor will make you come back for more. And our server which I didn't catch her name was very pleasant with a great personality that made our visit that much better. Looking forward till next time for some more tasty yumyum's and the service of an...
