Read moreI guess I had an off night for the chef? In all fairness, I didn't have the Pho. I ordered Drunken Noodle and Pad thai and Crab Rangoon. The bill came to 35 and some change and a 3 buck tip to the cashier who was very nice. What bothered me most was the Drunken Noodle. I'm not sure if the chef has ever made a traditional Drunken Noodle. This one had pineapple, broccoli, carrot in it. It had no Thai basil or any basil that I could tell. The chicken was way overcooked. I'm guessing they are precooking the chicken and adding it to the dish resulting in dried out food. The Drunken Noodle just isn't authentic drunken noodle. I also tried the Pad Thai which was pretty good; it had nice flavor but the shrimp was , again, overcooked. Other than that the Pad Thai was good. I just won't get it in chicken or shrimp. I'll order the tofu pad thai ( can you overcook tofu?). The crab rangoons were a little overdone ( see pics) and really didn't have much filling, it's mostly breading/rice paper. I really wanted to experience the five stars that everyone is giving and I will go back and try other things. I post this in hopes that they improve and make changes. I hope this place is a success. I hope they work on not overcooking the...
Read moreSo, I found this place last night online cause I had a craving for Pho. I've been trying to find a place that's close, decently priced, and good. Pho Hoa Grill is that place.
I saw photos online and the place is like it looks. About the size of a small house, a lot like the places here on the side of the road that do lobster during summer. There are picnic tables outside and flowers planted in pots along with music. Overall the atmosphere was really nice.
The girl who helped me was very nice and asked if I wanted to eat there or do take out, which I hadn't even thought about. Not to mention, they have bubble tea here too in 17 different flavors if I remember correctly. I got the green tea one and thought it was great.
I got home with my pho and was happy to see they packed the broth, noodles, veggies, and even gave out small cups of Sriracha and hoisin sauce for the pho. And extra plus was that they packed chopsticks and plasticware in a napkin.
The pho was excellent! The broth, the meat, the veggies. Great flavor and was definitely hot! 10/10 overall and will...
