The food at this restaurant is least palatable at best, coupled with the dishonest behavior of the management, made it one of our worst/regrettable dining experience. To be fair, the food there is a 1 star and the management there is definitely a big "0 star". Sorry for the rant...Here are the story and the evidence. Food: *1 star* ala/malai kofta/paneer curry/chicken curry) were all made from the same gravy(sauce). Naan was ok, but the roti and Parata were not at all well cooked. Size of the serving was medium at best. We were asked whether we need onions/tomatoes/peppers in chicken Biryani or just chicken. I had never heard someone throw this question when asked for a Biryani (coming from a guy who is from Southern India from where Biryani has its origin). Experience : *0 star * If you have survived till here, kudos. But, here comes the part which made us all furious. We were shocked to look at the bill. ( I am stopping short of calling this a fraud ) We were given the lunch menu, where the prices were totally different from the bill we got. For example, the menu had channa masala listed at $9.99, but the bill we received had charged $14.00 for it. Not only that, all other dishes were priced at more than ~40% of the menu price. ( Evidence attached ). When enquired, we were told that we were apparently given dinner servings (supposedly larger quantity ), so more expensive. The menu we got did not mention that, nor the person waiting on us informed us before we got the bill in our hand. The serving sizes did not look big at all. What made the whole experience even worse was the realization that we had put in extra miles/ time to get to this place. ( we were on a road trip and heading back home and craving for Indian food). I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sad, we ended up there. This place left a bad taste not only in our mouth but also in our hearts. End rant.

I always order the same thing every time we come here because I have not tried many Indian spices or exotic dishes, and I would hate to spend $16-17 on a dish that I didn’t like! It seems like the prices have gone up quite a bit since last year, I always get the Mango Chicken, but was surprised when I got my bill and saw the dish was $17 and the Garlic Naan’s that used to cost $3 were now $5. Everything on the menu has gone way up, even just a small carton of extra rice. Every time I have got our food home it’s always neatly packaged in plastic containers, the servings are a pretty good size, and my Mango Chicken is always hot and cooked perfectly. So my only real complaint would be the prices but I don’t mind coming here for an occasional splurge. As for the staff, I have always had pleasant experiences ordering from the woman who runs this place, but there is a guy who works here who is extremely rude and the food always looks like it was thrown against the wall before being boxed up. I definitely prefer when she cooks and handles my food.

I got takeout and I was not disappointed! Portions: I got a few dishes and the serving sizes were bigger than I thought they would be. It is definitely enough for two meals. Plenty of rice to go around and huge pieces of chicken and veggies, ugh so yum! Price: It is reasonable for the portion and that this is not a big chain place. I’ll gladly give money to a local place for delicious food. Time: I thought the ordering process was efficient and I picked up the order in 15 minutes! That is speedy. I would order from here again!

No stars! We went out here craving indian and had a terrible experience. We love indian food and I have even worked in an indian food restaurant in portland Maine.

Upon entering the restaurant smelled of cigarettes. When we asked if someone was smoking inside our waiter told us matter of fact that he had just smoked, but outside. It was unpleasant but we were there for food and were anticipating deliciousness. The waiter was rude and way too casual. His customer service skills were nonexistent. I felt as if I was being served by a teenager who was being forced to wait on us by his parents; but he was a college aged dude.

We all ordered lamb dishes. Lamb Masala, Lamb Saag, and Lamb Kebabs as well as naan and samosas. The waiter put our dishes on the table without mentioning what they were and did not put them in front of the correct people, we had to ask what the dishes were. The masala sauce was edible but the lamb was chewy and stringy, too much fat to chew through. The kebabs we not well seasoned, dry and also with a lot of fatty strings. The saag was not the creamy spinach dish one hopes for but rather a too tomatoey version and just not as appetizing as saag can easily be. Again, the meat just seemed to be of poor quality very gamey.

I understand how these dishes are made and I could just tell that the food was not at all well composed and no care was taken to make sure that we had a satisfying experience at all. Although we barely touched our food, our waiter quickly took our money and asked no, and even upon mentioning our dissatisfaction nothing was said to us, not even an apology.

As we left we wished we could have warned the couple coming in about their choice of restaurant and the coming disappointment. But as this restaurant has gotten good feedback by others we figured that perhaps it is all just a matter of taste, and in my opinion it is severely...

Worst Indian Restaurant I ever visited ! Service was pathetic. The owner(lady) was very rude and so much uninterested in serving. We ordered an appetizer, Kadai Paneer ,Roti/Chapati, Dal Makhani and Vegetable Biryani. 1)Firstly, she served us Butter Nan(made of All purpose flour) instead of Roti(made of wheat). When we pointed it out, she gave us a weird look and agreed to replace it. After a while she again served us Butter Nan and this time those were burnt. We told her about it and the reply was " Madam, the Nan's are done in tandoor, thats the reason they are burned.". We asked her to replace those and bring "Rotis". We waited for nearly 20-25 min and asked them to serve Rotis we requested for. The reply was " Ohh Yeah..I forgot your order". we were completely shocked by the reply. Then she served us Nan(still Nan not Rotis). We were quite sure by then, that we wont be getting Rotis and ate the Nan's. 2)Also, we ordered for Dal Makhani(which is traditionally made of Black Urad Dal/Lentil) and the same is written on their menu card, but she served us Yellow Dal/Lentil. 3) Taste of Vegetable Biryani was pathetic. It seemed like the cook had mixed Steam Rice and curry used for vegetable dishes. The vegetables were not properly cooked

Would never go...
