My Husband and I chose Broadway Diner to cater our wedding. We love eating at Broadway Diner so there was no doubt when we had to choose a caterer. So happy we chose them to be be apart of our big day! All of our questions and inquiries were handled through emails and were always promptly answered. When it came time for the tasting of our choices, the staff that helped us were great answering questions and going through the process and timing of our day to ensure all went smoothly. The day of our wedding, the staff came and set everything up (they knew the ropes and it was nice not to have to direct them on what to do). The food was hot and delicious! We chose to do buffet style, so our guests had lots of choices to chose from. Kudos to the catering staff who helped cleared plates from the tables, help excuse guests to head for the buffet and they even made sure to have the DJ announce to check if everyone had enough food to eat (offering anyone could help themselves to seconds). They checked in with me to see if we needed anything else or if there were other questions/concerns that we had. I could not believe how many of our guests commented to us on the food saying "it was the best wedding food they have ever had!" We were also pretty excited to have some leftovers to enjoy after our wedding as well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Broadway Diner to anyone for catering or visiting their location to eat! They are the best, hands down! Thanks for making the whole process for the day smooth and worriless! Just what every Bride and...
Read moreWorst experience I have had in a long time. The waitress was rude and the manager wasn’t much better. I ordered the cheddar biscuits and they came with no cheese on them. I asked the waitress if it was supposed to have cheese , she said yes it’s baked on top of the biscuit. I said I don’t see any cheese on here do you she said no I don’t I said OK but is it supposed to have cheese? She said yes it is and she just kept arguing with me that oh well, there’s nothing she can do so my daughter said can you just get her some cheese, the waitress bought me cheese and then charged me a dollar for the cheese . I took a pic so that I could show that there was no cheese on it when I went to pay the bill I said I don’t feel like I should have to pay for the cheese when it was supposed to come with it . so I asked for the manager the manager asked the waitress did it have cheese on it and she said yes it did. She scraped it off. I said no I didn’t. I said you’re literally standing here lying and she said no I watched you. I can’t even pull up camera footage. I said go ahead pull up the camera footage. I said I took a picture to show you, which the manager said she didn’t want to see the pic and then about eight of them stood there arguing with me over a dollar. there’s a right way in a wrong way to deal with customers and a very bad experience would have been fine if they would’ve done their job disappointed not going back. Haven’t been there in six years because of a bad experience before obviously it hasn’t gotten...
Read moreThe service was really awful followed closely behind by the food.
I came in before my friend to check the wait time, and then I told a waitress that I'd be right back in with her. I also relayed the kind of table we'd need, too, to accommodate our needs. We both got in through the side door (where I had entered the first time, and plenty of people were using this door as well...) and a different waitress came up to us. This incompetent woman kept pointing at the front door and demeaning us and our intelligence. She did this by telling us to stand by the front door (which would have been fine on its own), but then had the audacity to read aloud the "please wait to be seated sign" and taking the special time to lean over the counter and point to that sign for us. She wouldn't even let us get a word in edge-wise that we already had a table waiting for us. (This would be confirmed shortly after by the waitress that greeted me originally.)
The food was bad. My friend's eggs were streamed and not oil-fried as the menu described. My food wasn't great, lacking flavor overall. The cinnamon roll I took to-go was dry and dense. I never got my hot sauce; we never got refills.
This was my first experience at the Broadway Dinner (my friend had been many times before), and it definitely was my last. I would not eat here again or recommend it.
On a side note, they could have also done a much better job salting their walking path and...
