Had never been before. Decided to give it a try while we were in town shopping at Menards. The staff were completely slammed as it was (to our surprise) Murder Mystery weekend in town. The place was packed. We waited about 5 minutes for the 2 of us to be seated. Every staff person we spoke to were VERY pleasant and friendly even though they were SO busy. We each ordered an adult beverage. A cocktail for me and beer for my husband. Both were very good. I highly recommend The BBC cocktail. Very light and refreshing. We each ordered a burger. The Monster for my husband and a bacon cheeseburger with raw onion for me. I ordered traditional fries he ordered beer battered fries. I ordered honey mustard dipping sauce for my fries. Husband ordered no dipping sauce for his. I ordered burger medium and husband medium rare. My burger did arrive with no pink. Do a bit overcooked. My husband's was almost perfectly medium rare. My fries were very good. My husband's not as much. He preferred mine as did I. We ended up ordering more honey mustard sauce because he tried mine and really enjoyed it so we needed enough for two people. The portions were plentiful. The rotating light draft was his favorite of the two beers he had with Fantasy Factory IPA a close second. I tend to be quite picky about my burgers and my fries. My favorite stop when traveling between Madison area & Wisconsin Dells. A little out of the way as it is on the square in Baraboo, but definitely well worth it. A FANTASTIC "watering hole". Surrounded by tvs to watch any sporting event that may pack your interest. They'll even change channels for you if necessary. Numerous beer choices with a rotating monthly selection in bottle & seasonal tap choice to go along with their regular variety of flavors. I can't soak for their wine selection as I enjoy beer & never puts up the opportunity to try one of their new selections. Pretty much any mixed drink you could desire, even some monthly choices there as well. The food... Fantastic! Burgers, Ruebens, Po'Boys, Chicken, etc. An imaginative menu with tantalizing options. If you don't like any of their choices, you can mix anything & they'll create it for you. The wait staff pools tips, so there is ALWAYS someone to check on you or willing to help. Another benefit is that as soon as your food is prepared, it is brought out of kitchen & served to you while still sizzling. I find the price to be very reasonable provided the ambiance, the quality of food, & the promptness of service.
