We’re local and decided to try this new spot for lunch after hearing great things. Some things I noticed when we first got there that could be improved: 1) The young man taking orders could greet customers as they come in, he didn’t say anything until we placed our order (a “hello” goes a long way and makes people feel welcome) 2) The front dining area floor and a couple of the tables were a little messy and could have been cleared considering they opened at 11:30 and we stopped by at 1:30 and the place wasn’t busy.
Now for the food…MY GOD. Let me tell you, if you get the pulled pork prepare to make mess lol that was the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in AGES! So hot, fresh, and tasty! The fries could have been a bit crispier but the seasoning was excellent. My husband loved the pulled pork nachos and had to take the rest home there was just so much. We will definitely come back and try some of the other menu items. I’ve seen many businesses come and go in this building so I truly hope this cafe remains successful and stays for...
Read moreThe food was amazing, so much flavor. I got the BLT and a side of smoked greens (why? Idk, it sounded good at the time). My wife got a burger melt with fries, and the pattern continued, the burger was thick and cooked perfectly, while the fries would give Rally's fries a run for their money (Rally's in my opinion has some of the best fries ever. If you don't like Rally's, imagine a top 3 best fry from your taste bud's past, that's how good). A great beer selection, I had not 1 but ✌🏼 Double Barreled Shotgun Weddings. I don't recommend 😉 unless you like full-bodied, barrell aged, dark as night, over 12% abv beer......in which I do. 🤤 Great, cozy little spot. The only damn place in Bardstown, that I know of, that serves good, hot food after 11pm. And the desserts are 🔥, but just take my word for it. I'm...
Read moreI stopped by Marcella’s for the first time tonight and ordered a caprese panini, the Amish style macaroni, and bowtie pasta salad. Everything was so delicious!!! The panini was sweet and cheesy with a nice pop of freshness from the basil, the Amish style macaroni had a delicious creamy dressing, and the bowtie pasta salad had an addicting zingy flavor from the feta and lemon juice. I’m so excited to come back and try more of the food! For some reason when I Google “Marcella’s Bardstown” their Facebook doesn’t automatically show up, so I hope to see them around more on social media (and maybe on Instagram, too) - I definitely want this place to stick around for...
