Novellas Creamery — Restaurant in Barrington

I always pass this place on my drive back home. Finally they 90 degree weather won, and I pulled into their long drive way that leads to a rear parking lot (since the main road doesn’t have parking). Novellas offered outdoor seating, however, when I opened the door, I did not know how long the place is. It’s a lot of seating.

The prices were great and the serving worked so quickly and she was very attentive.

I ordered the salted Carmel pretzel flavor ice cream and it was amazing. Sorry the Whole Scoop, I have a new ice cream place. I definitely will be coming back when I need my ice cream fix.

Literally the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. And that’s saying a lot because I eat a lot of ice cream. The owner, Gene is very kind and let us try different flavors. I recommend getting the cookie dough and campfire s’mores together! Mondays are a great day to go since it’s a slower day....

How in the world is there only one review for this place- it’s such a classic, cute ice cream parlor with what looks like the original apothecary fittings behind the counter. Really good Richman’s ice cream - not stingy on portions. Staff is friendly. Great place on a summer afternoon or...
