Little Coco Fun + Foods — Restaurant in Barrington

We are absolutely in love with little coco's and can't speak more highly of this wonderful neighborhood cafe. I wish I could give the pastries/baked goods 10 stars!!! We moved to this area two years ago and had not been able to find a cafe with top notch breakfast treats until now. Little Coco clearly makes all of their baked goods fresh from scratch each day. Without fail, we will come here once a weekend to stock up on a biscuit, scone, or coveted hand pie. We are absolutely guilty for stalking coco's instagram page for when hand pies are on the menu and then have made a mad dash to buy them out of their stock for the day. On top of their dreamy treats, we've always been welcomed to little coco's with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. I had a baby two months ago, and am always looking for places to get out of the house for a bit. I started driving over here from Philly regularly, and it is seriously becoming my happy place! The pastries and coffee are delicious and ever changing, and the breakfast sandwiches are so good. But more important than that (and why I keep driving all this way) is the staff are SO delightful and have such warm energies. I always feel comfortable sitting here for a few hours with my baby, and I love the people watching. I manage a cafe in Philly, so am quite jealous of what a lovely staff you all have! I was excited to try this place but was disappointed. I was excited to switch up from just going to wawa and support a local business. The person at the counter just kinda stared at us and the customer service was very subpar. Answered questions but did not have any friendliness. The honey pie was very good and I enjoyed it. The latte tasted watery according to my boyfriend. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches just tasted like smoke. I enjoy a smokey flavour but it was so overpowering and dry. Perhaps we are not their target demographic. Think we will just stick to good ole friendly...
