What Old Rail has going for it is its styling. It lurches for that stripped down, exposed brick aesthetic all the way up to its extended ceiling and neon signs. The u-bar looks original to the location and offers plenty of seating for patrons.

I came in to try their wings. Their menu advertised that their wings were unbreaded brined, with a handful of flavors. My party went with the hot garlic and the honey hots. The wait wasn't that long to get them from the fryer to the bar top, which was definitely a plus. But to warn you, the sauces were fairly underwhelming. Both were pretty salt forward, with the hot garlic only containing the vague, half-dreamt memory of buffalo. The only two notes that one could hazard was that of garlic and salt. It didn't help that although the wings were fried pretty well, they were hardly sauced.

Otherwise, the prices for drafts were fair and the front of house staff was on point. Both the staff and regulars crowd were very friendly -- anyone would feel...

I had to change the rating, I had to change the review that I had for this location unfortunately I don't understand the reason why this is happening but it gets over and run by foreigners. I have experienced being at this bar enjoying myself ordering drinks ordering appetizers and food and then there's people that come in they're completely clueless they don't know what it is that they're doing they don't know what it means to be an actual American they completely disrupted the experience that I was having I had to gather myself up so that I can immediately leave this location I was being harassed and bombarded so badly because of being an American I had to leave. Be cautious coming here I don't understand what the problem is I don't understand what in the world is going on but if you're an American you're going to deal with some issues at this location. I got ran out of here. I will never ever...

Went there on Saturday 6/4 waitress asked how many people? There were 9 of us. She said she had a table for us in 10 minutes. Went to the table and another waitress came and said sorry I have someone coming in who was seated outside. When we got seated we ordered food and waited for 4 more people to arrive. Two people with me got their food and me and my girlfriend didn’t yet. Rest of our party arrived and ordered their food. There food came but we still didn’t get ours . The original waitress who took our order came over an hour and fifteen minutes later and said, didn’t you get your food yet? An hour and thirty minutes later we finally got our food. She offered to take two beers off the tab for the inconvenience. I only had one beer. The roast pork was not that good. Chunks of pork were to thick. I would suggest to constantly check on your food order. It was not a...

I heard "The Rail" - Old Rail Tavern - Barrington N.J. has good wings and food. My dad and I decided to check it out for lunch. He got the garlic hot, and I got the spicy honey garlic. No breading on these guys as they are naked. If you haven't had wings brined before, you'll notice how much it makes a difference. After frying, these meaty wings weren't dry in the least bit. We sincerely enjoyed our wings and cold beer on this warm day. The wings at The Old Rail are quality, I'll leave it at that. Wing lovers, make this a spot to check out. Seems like a locals bar as people walked in were greeted by other patrons. Felt a bit like an episode of Cheers. It was a welcoming environment. We sat at the bar. We received very kind and helpful service. I would recommend getting some fries to dip into your extra sauce!

We went to the Old Rail Tavern for the very first time to watch the final Eagles game of the season. The place definitely isn't huge inside, but it was easy enough to get a table and squeeze everyone in. We ordered fries, fried pickles and wings, then a pizza at half time. The fried pickles and sauce they came with were awesome! The wings were gigantic in size, and were breaded with a tasty medium heat, buffalo sauce on them. We all enjoyed them very much! Can't say the pizza was anything special, but what do you expect from a bar. A great crowd was on hand to cheer the Eagles to victory and into the post season! I will definitely be going back to the Old Rail Tavern!

On a Wednesday night, I visited with my wife and daughter, and it happened to be trivia night. The atmosphere was pleasant and not overly crowded. I really liked the Christmas trees that were hanging upside down from the ceiling; they added a unique touch. They offer delicious daily food specials and have the relaxed vibe of a neighborhood pub. I highly recommend trying the wings and the peanut butter chocolate cake. I'm looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer so I can enjoy a beer or two on the patio this summer.
