We were driving to Vegas, and we looked up a place to eat. This place had very good reviews, so we gave it a shot. It's a small charming place it reminds me of the small homie restaurants in the small Pueblo of Mexico. The food was amazing we got the carne asada plate and the chicken chimichanga plate they did not disappoint, the chips and salsa were really good, the salsa was just the right amount of spicy and surprisingly it was green sauce not red. The service here was awesome. They're attentive to your needs and needles to say our drinks never got empty. Made us wish we were locals to be able to enjoy this place more often. Give it a shot, and you won't be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a small family business, tucked out of the way, and probably only frequented by the locals. The chips and salsa were amazing! You can taste how fresh the salsa is. Mexican street tacos, carne asada and al pastor. The al pastor tacos were a little better than the carne asada, but they were both great Biscuits and gravy side. The gravy didn’t have any sausage in it, but it kinda tasted like sausage. If you get the plate (instead of the side) it comes with sausage and eggs. Also got a chicken quesadilla and an al pastor quesadilla to go.

If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food on your travels, this is the spot you need to stop at. The atmosphere is relaxing, welcoming, and very clean! I had the chile verde burrito and it did not disappoint, it was so flavorful. My family enjoyed the flautas and street tacos. You know the Mexican food will be good when the rice is good and this rice was delicious! The service was excellent, the people were attentive, kind and they received us with a smile on their faces. With that, Thank you! :)

I grew up in the IE eating delicious Mexican food from restaurants and from my grandmother's kitchen and people tend to love my cooking as well. My point being, I know good Mexican food when I taste it.

That said, La Casita is the best Mexican food in Barstow. I tried most of the surrounding restaurants and only one other comes close but La Casita is #1 for sure.

I love it, I introduced my family to it and they love it as well. Not only is the food delicious but they are kind and welcoming.
