Over the last year, one of our favorite restaurants has slowly become a consistent disappointment. I understand supply chain issues and the inflated cost of food and supplies that can't always be reflected in the menu prices. However, when a spud max is no longer even trying to live up to that name (spud meh?), and when the quality of food is so poor that it is completely inedible, then it's time to consider whether we are simply wasting our time and money patronizing this establishment. Thankfully, we still have options that are also dealing with all the aforementioned issues, yet still manage to deliver a quality product.
Tonight, we had a piece of avocado on a salad, which used to be at least half an avocado, but now is just a quarter piece. This, in and of itself, would have been excusable. However, this avocado (which had to be cut, in order to add it to the salad), was so hard, it could not be cut or chewed. There is no way they could not have been aware of what they were serving. This is unacceptable.
I feel bad writing this review, but this was more than what we can continue to take. Also, we have heard similar problems from our friends. I sincerely hope something will be done to improve things here. Sadly, if they are, we probably won't know it for some...
Read moreIve eaten here a lot. Not by choice really but because its fast and close to my work. I have a very short lunch break and i dont eat fast food so mccalisters is one of only few options. But im probably done for good. I wont wright a bad review of a place unless they earn it after at least a few opportunities. They are however consistently awful on food prep and quality. The employees are nice but they fail in all other regards. Ive ordered sandwichs and salads from them well over a dozen times and its never good quality. They almost never remember to put the bacon on the sandwich, no kidding out of 10 chicken club sandwiches ive ordered only 2 of them had a measly portion of dried up microwaved bacon on them. Thats terrible! The sanwiches are 95% bread and 5% ingrediants. Leaving you still hungry and unsatisfied. They get other things wrong as well. Sometimes i get a pickle sometimes i dont. The sandwich is always falling apart you almost have to have a fork to eat it. In my entire life ive never had such consistently bad orders from any other restaurant. You can actually get a better sandwich from subway or even arby's for half the price. Save yourself some time, money and frustration and avoid this store until they can get their...
Read moreWent in with my best friend and we had traveled from Sand Springs (about an hour) to a dealership there in Bartlesville after working all day. We were exhausted! The service was HORRIBLE. They didn't greet us when we came in and then when a guy finally came out to the front he mumbled to us it would take a long time to make our sandwiches. There was literally noone else in the restaurant besides my best friend, me and the workers. We ask him what he meant and he was like nevermind. Then a girl came out and took over and made sure we knew we were an inconvenience to her. At this point we were ready to walk out but was so tired and hungry that was waited it out. Got seated and our order was right out...weird since he had told us it would take a long time t 9o make a sandwich. So we started eating and that is when another guy decided to start sweeping around our table. Keep in mind there was no other customers in the whole place and plenty of other places to sweep besides near our food. That always grosses me out when they do that. As soon as we got out of there we did. I absolutely love McAllisters but I wouldn't in a million year recommend the Bartlesville restaurant. Even one star was too...
