Weeze's Cafe — Restaurant in Bartlesville

i don't eat here very often unless i want a ground beef type of meal. their prices look like they've gone up a lot esp on some meals i won't get anymore. i have no complaints about my meal. my husband's meal was i think ok also. its the service that is awful along with how their business is run which makes me not want to come back. i don't remember the waitress ever coming back to refill our drinks or asking us if things were ok. hubby & i ordered 2 hamburg type sandwiches with fries. when we were getting ready to leave hubby caught the waitress and asked for a box for our leftover fries. the waitress said she'd bring us one and never came back so i had to go up to a worker to get one. then husband went to pay for the meal. i told him to ask for a receipt. after paying we noticed the girl had rung us up for onion rings we didn't order. we asked for a refund on them and the cashier gals acted like they didn't want to give us the money back. after talking amongst themselves the gal handed me some money and replied this should 'make us even'. i replied by saying no it doesn't you owe me some more. they didn't even calculate what i should actually get back. so then she handed me some change after i told her exactly what the refund should be. while there i overheard a woman ahead of me arguing with the cashier why she was charged $13 for a take out of just a baked potato. i think she finally paid stating she would never come back. i would have asked to talk to the manager or owner. anyways this place is not run very well in my opinion and the staff definitely needs some training. it makes me wonder if the staff are purposely padding the tickets or something so make sure you ask for a receipt after you pay or question your bill. i can't understand how the waitress would put onion rings on our ticket when we verbally gave her our order at our table. it will be awhile if ever we come back...

Weezie’s Cafe- 328 Dewey Ave, Bartelsville Oklahoma. So, I know I hadn’t eaten all day and walked in about 1:45pm. The coffee was hot. It was like Army field coffee, as the coffee should be at 1:45pm, but it felt like the places I’ve been missing since I got out. Blackjack range, fort hood, The Fulda gap east/west German border, West Fort Hood, the Mout Site, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, NTC and Home. That’s what it felt like for me. Home. Mama was cooking, even though Mama had a beard and mustache’. Ok she did have a mustache but she was German and Swiss. All these are good things. A cafe named Weezie’s should give you that Home feeling… whatever that is for you, if it’s a warm family moment that should be it. If it’s a bunch of 4-5 days dirty of you Csvalry scout Brother trying to get some green marmite eggs, hard usage and a cup of coffee brewed in the last 24-36 hours… as long as the food is warm.. and you are all punching each other and cussing. That’s what it should be and it was all that. I will say it is quite a feat to make a taco salad review worthy, but wait for the rating. I know all these things I’ve said do not make the place sound as great as it is. But then whatever that feeling is for you… then that is what it is. I’ll probably go try the cage breakfast special on the way out of town in the morning. I’m positive the rating will be similar. I highly recommend you go. If you know my rating system you know that there isn’t many “8s”, but the place, the service and believe it or not the taco salad was great. My rating: 8.3. Came here today with Larry Ringer well lets say I was dragged here against my will like every time. Today we both had a double hot hamburger and fries with white gravy all over.

I will say this.. the burger was bland the gravy was not enough. I was however full. I would have to assume this dish weighed a little over 3lbs. Was defiantly the most unhealthy thing I have ever eaten in my life I did not finish the fries like Larry. He eats like he's going to die tomorrow.

I met Larry a while back in front of the county jail he seemed like an alright guy but has this weird addiction to Weeze's. I never really found out why he was there and its never come up he has a credit card so I assume he's not homeless.

Well anyway prior to this event I went to Weezes for lunch with a farmer man and had blackened catfish it was awful like 0/10.

However I give this place 4/5 for breakfast that's...
