KFC — Restaurant in Bartow

Lake Wales is clearly the best KFC in Polk county... BUT LET ME WARN YOU BOUT BARTOW KFC... They got my order wrong gave me two small sides instead of two large when I brought them back they told me they charged me for a small which was $3.89 instead of 40 cent more for the large. When I clearly told the lady the sign says add a side for $4.39. So they argued with me instead of just giving me a couple more bites of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Like 1$ more and I just spent 47 FN dollars... And you want to argue over a couple extra bites of food that cost you 10¢ and lose my business over 80¢ in cost. ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS, THE FOOD WAS AWFUL AND MADE US ALL SICK. IM SURE IT WAS THE CHICKEN. (Salmonella poisoning...) And the manager Lady of that shift was much older and I think she was Mexican not sure maybe Oriental but was very rude about it and said I asked you what size!!! and I told her add a side for $4.39 two times it was a big sign attached to the speaker, but she said that I never answered her so she put in small... When I came back and had to go back through the line and everything I expected them to just say okay sorry sir let us replace the large for the small and just give me my food and go but instead they had to be rude and three different people came to the window and they were just really rude about it and then I called back to talk to the manager, the same lady came on and didn't want to hear any of it, and just hung up on me so yeah never again will I be back to Bartow KFC and would suggest that to all others, to never go there, if you want some good chicken, go to Publix, get a box of chicken and sides for just the price of chicken at KFC and it's 10 times better...... But if you're really in the mood for some good KFC go to Lake Wales... Do not go to...

KFC has always been my family's favorite for affordable and delicious menu choices - for years! Oh gee, Bartow's KFC Branch totally turned me off. Its lady-manager told me that I couldn't ask for an extra barbecue sauce because each customer is entitled to just one for every order so, tongue-in-cheek, I offered her $2 which she took. Since this branch is closer to my home, I had to pinch my nose and steel my nerves to come in a few days later. The same lady in her petulant way added one bbq sauce to my order saying, "I make sure you get your extra sauce" (as though my life depended on getting one) which I promptly returned to her with the sweetest smile I could muster. Still, I won't hesitate to visit her branch again and again - if only to lighten and sweeten her day with my very much welcomed presence. After all, Col. Sanders wouldn't want people quitting his excellent menu choices (and his secret formula no one has ever imitated even faintly) just because of an isolated negative experience in one of his restaurants. Col. Sanders, as always, you rock Sir! His legacy will live on long after an extra sauce asked for by a customer had been...

Beware!! I ordered a 8 piece chicken through the app, I ordered original all dark and received mixed chicken and all burnt way over done!! Call the restaurant and the manager with the Indian accent told me that I have to bring in my chicken in order for him to do anything about it when he could see on my app receipt what was wrong. I Splaine it’s not my fault that my order was wrong. I was there for the quick pick up order and I told him I lived across town and wasn’t coming right back to his Bartow location for him to view my burnt chicken!!! They could care less at this location and it’s only about the money. The service is unprofessional and they do not care as long as they get the money so buyer beware please check your food before you leave the restaurant area. I will never go back to this location because this is not the first time I’ve received the wrong order and had to bring back one piece...
