Just got my normal breakfast burrito like always but this time it was different. It was tiny, flat and depressing. Brought it back in because this is unlike this store, but I was informed this was the new $5 burrito intened by the store manager. So this 1 star is for the store manager and their quality control. If I want a flat, tiny, sad burrito I would of gave Mc Donald's a dollar and not you five. Not sure if this was business strategy of ripping off your loyal customers but I will not take part of it. Very bold busines strategy. I hope the owner of this place realizes whats going on and corrects this terrible store manager decision soon before they drive away the rest of your business. Now excuse me while I look for a second breakfast.
Also, please correct your pictures to accommodate the food you're actually serving to people now. You shouldn't be allowed to use old photos of how you used to make a product if you're changing it. If you're going to be other lazy, cheap, fast food chain, at least have some honest and clarity on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to several Tropical Smoothie Cafes and have always thought the food was pretty good, smoothies great, and service decent. Except this location...we've tried so many times and the service was awful, unfriendly, etc. So much so that we avoided it. We recently went back and were pleasantly surprised that the staff was all new, mostly nice, and no longer a reason to avoid. BUT...the food and smoothies weren't very good at all. The reasonably expensive adult quesadilla was almost exactly like the kids and were soft, almost wet. The rice in the bowl was uncooked and hurt our teeth so bad neither my wife or I could eat it. The smoothie, which is usually really good, was almost flavorless. Then the bill, which came to almost $50 (too many kids), definitely didn't reflect the quality and amount of food. Too many better choices for fast'ish food. We love Tropical Smoothie and will continue to patronize other locations but will likely continue to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHappy that it's close to home and it's best if you don't online order. In my opinion, even if you're there on time or 5min late, the smoothie isn't cold nor is the food warm, regardless if online ordering. Even if ordering in person, a hot quesadilla is served below lukewarm. This isnt the first time, more like 5th, that there's been this issue. When improperly marked and you want to be sure it is your food because it's placed on a different shelf square, good luck getting someone's attention when there are at least 4 people behind the counter (one sweeping, another dancing and singing while manning the toaster, the register person looking for something to do and helping another pour smoothies). There were only 2 customers in the store besides me. No acknowledgement and stuff definitely out of...
