Broadway Diner — Restaurant in Bartow

I have been eating breakfast and or lunch from Broadway twice a week since March and have never had any kind of issue except great food and great service. On Saturday October 22nd, I went over to order my breakfast and honestly between some of the new faces that actually didn't look or act like they wanted to be there, and the fact that what I paid for wasn't even close to what was in my to go box( was missing my grits completely and order was already cold when I received it, even though I ordered it and actually waited up front for it) and the sour looks and attitudemost of the staff had, I'm not sure if I will be coming back. I work at the hotel next door and, unfortunately, all of us not only eat here but hype it up to our guests all the time. I just can't see that happening anymore. I certainly hope y'all get it together soon, because some of our regulars have been saying that the whole restaurant has changed in the last few weeks too. Might want to rethink things because the direction of things will not be good for business and that would be a shame, I really liked this place before....

I had never been here before, it was recommended by a friend. I have to say the food was really good. If you are going to call yourself a diner you better have a good burger. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger and will say it was really well seasoned and actually cooked the way I asked for it. Most places they will ask you and then cook it to medium well and it is what you get. I got fries that were crispy, hot and well seasoned. The food was out in a reasonable time, we avoided the lunch rush on a Saturday.

We were seated immediately and had a server almost immediately. We never had to wait for refills and our server was very attentive as well as nice to speak with. He was quick with the bill as well.

There is plenty of parking as well as handicapped accessible parking, its in a shopping plaza.

*My only complaint was the Coca-Cola didn't taste like regular coke to me, tasted like diet. I sent the first one back but the second was the same, could've been my taste...
