I never thought I would find a jeweler I would love like I love Spath Jewelers! My relationship started with Emily Spath helping to design an engagement ring for my son to give his future bride. Mind you, he was in Santa Rosa Beach and I was the go-between. She made several drawings using some of my mom’s diamonds and drawings with her purchasing stones for Adam’s ring. All were equally beautiful, and Adam finally decided on one, so Emily and her team went to work. The final piece was out of this world and my son and, now, DIL were over the moon! Then came Emily designing the wedding band for Rachel. Again, Emily hit it out of the ball park. In fact, they said they would only ever buy their jewelry from Spath’s!

I, also, asked Emily if she could/would extend a string of pearls my grandmother had purchased for me, prior to my birth. Let me tell you, my pearls are perfect! No one would be able to tell that pearls were added. And the necklace lengthened.

Next up, my mother wanted to do ‘something’ with her 1 ct solitaire and her heart pendant. We met with Emily, talked about different options and Emily came up with placing the solitaire in the center of the heart. My mom cried some serious tears of joy when she picked it up! Even Emily’s mom had a tear in her eye when she saw the joy my mom had.

In the mean time, we’ve made quite a few other purchases from Spath: a new diamond wedding (30th) anniversary band for me, some diamond ear climbers, and latest was a perfect, for me, diamond cross pendant.

Everyone we dealt with, in the shop, has been kind and willing to help you find or design exactly what you want! Of course, I adore Emily as she treats you like you are one of the Spath family! Full disclosure - I met the Spath family through a friend of a friend, so I can't guarantee that they treat everyone like me. However, I generally hang out with kind, awesome people so the fact that Emily is a friend means I trust her highly and think that all customers should. I know Emily well after this process, and she was fantastic to me (us).

The purchase of an engagement ring is difficult for us male-types because the woman I love expects to wear it for the next 50 years...so she can't just pretend to like it. I worked hard with Emily to surprise my fiancee, and she loved the ring so much. My fiancee hadn't been able to show me a ring that was exactly what she wanted (maybe it didn't exist), so I did my best to describe to Emily what we were looking for,. and what my favorite lady's style is. Emily basically had her pros send me an image of a ring they created based on my descriptions (and some of Emily's suggestions as well), and to me it looked perfect. They got to work and I eventually received the beautiful ring.

Emily and the team at Spath Jewelers were always incredibly kind, very sensitive, and everyone who answered the phone treated me extremely well. I don't live in Bartow so most of this was done via email/phone...and despite the logistical challenges it worked out perfectly!

My fiancee can now be found staring at her ring and diamond happily, telling me how beautiful it is. I have Emily and Spath Jewelers to thank for my fiancee's happiness :) Now I just need to figure out who to thank for her questionable...

We purchased a beautiful diamond ring at Spath Jewelers in Bartow 12 years ago. Oddly, we only intended to get a watch battery! Last year, we moved out of state. To my dismay, I lost a trillion diamond from the setting and never found the stone. Knowing we would be back in FL for Christmas, I wanted Spath to do the repair and replacement. I contacted them via an email address provided on their website and got a prompt reply from Matthew Clark, VP of Operations. Matthew looked up records and assured me they could replace the stone and would do everything possible to get it back to me before we left FL. I was greeted by Jillian immediately when I entered the store. She took care of my request promptly, relaying info to their jeweler and the diamond provider and assured me the repair would be expedited. To my surprise, the ring was fixed and I received a call the day before Christmas Eve, well before our anticipated departure date. My ring was on my finger on the exact day, 12 years after the ring was purchased. The work was impeccable and all my other rings were cleaned and inspected. While I waited, during both visits, several staff members offered assistance with smiles. I wanted to give a shout out to a dedicated staff that handled my special situation with expediency during their busiest time of the year! Thank you...
