I came to eat dinner with my family since the reopen was finally done and the service was okay, not what we expected. The waitress was nice but rang in the orders wrong and we caught it on our bill after. Was told by the GM Silvia that it has happened a lot and she apologized and offered us a gift voucher to come back for $50. We were satisfied with her kindness and was willing to come back and try it again. A month later on Easter I try to order online with the gift coupon and when I went to checkout it said coupon wasnāt accepted online. I donāt always have time to go into the restaurant to eat so I figured why not use it online and eat at home with my family. So I called and spoke to destiny over the phone and explained to her why I couldnāt use it online, and she put me on hold to ask a manger what to do. She told me she would take the order over the phone and to show them the gift coupon when I came to pickup. I showed up to get my order and they were clearly busy because it was Easter, gave the host my name for my pick up order, got handed my food by a young hostess , I then told her hey I have my gift receipt to show you and she said no your fine itās okay, I then said are you sure because I was told to you it to you when I picked up my order and she looked at my phone and said your fine your good to go. Two hours go by and I receive a call from Bartow, didnāt know who it was. 30 min go by ans three cops show up at my door asking why I didnāt pay my bill at ruby Tuesday. Accusing me of leaving the restaurant and not paying my bill. Told the cops I still have the gift receipt that was given to me by the GM previously and how I tried to use it and was told I was good to go. I got the GM on the phone and was told the hostess asked me if it was paid and I said yes which was a lie. She was probably scared to loose her job and didnāt know what to say. Iām completely embarrassed that someone would accuse me of not wanting to pay for my $35 Sunday steak special which I had a gift receipt to use. Then was told that my bill was $55 and that someone must have rung it in wrong because it was Sunday dinner special. Giving them another chance was a mistake and to send three cops to my house to assume Iām some criminal is not how you handle this situation. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI frequent Ruby Tuesday's in our area 2-3 times a week in our county depending where I'm at. I happened to be in Bartow so I stopped in for lunch. I bought the unlimited Salad Bar entree and asked the waitress for a Salad bowl to be left on table (as I do at every RT's I eat at with no issues). I ask for this because it's easier to cut up the salad in the bigger bowl vs the little plate they offer. It saves a mess from having to be cleaned up. I do NOT take that Salad bowl to the bar... It's literally just for me at the table. That being said, our waitress was very rude and said NO! That's not allowed. Our manager says absolutely not! Wow, that's strange, can you tell me why? She had no answer other than no and the manager wasn't even in the restaurant to ask. I must of hit a nerve because we only seen her again when it was time to pay and she has no words. Alrighty. 1 week later, I stopped by again, got a super sweet waitress, we didn't want for anything...except a bowl. š I asked her why there was a bowl ban?! She didn't know but knew the manager forbid it!! I said to her.... If I were to order a chicken salad off the menu, it would LITERALLY come in the same bowl. She said Yep! š¤¦š»āāļø So, Bartow Manager, your literally the only RT's in Polk who forbids a loyal RT's paying customer a BOWL for the table....of an unlimited Salad Bar.... Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered pick up for last night 8/24/24 about 8:45 My wife ordered the 6 ounce rib eye special & I ordered the smash burger with lettuce, tomato., onion ketchup, mustard and mayo. We both wanted baked potato, but they were out of them. I had a buy 1 entree, get the 2nd for $3, but they didn't honor it as I was told that the rib eye was a special, & we couldn't use the other coupon. The burgers were about the size of a quarter $ burnt, with a little cheese, lettuce & a small piece of onion, & nothing else . There were about 15 fries, not done & greasy. The rib eye was thin, & no way it was 6 ounces, & the mashed potatoes were about half the size that they usually are. We got the salad bar, & the ham was watery. I couldn't get a receipt because the machine they used was out of paper. We drove over 30 minutes & paid almost $35 for a horrible meal. We had just ordered the exact same meals a few weeks ago at another Ruby Tuesday while on vacation in N. Fl., and they honored the steak special, burger, & salad bar, with much bigger portions including the steak, burgers, fries, & mashed potatoes. We won't return to this Ruby Tuesday because of...
