Starbucks has quickly become a extremely popular location across multiple countries. In a serious review, I think that quality control is top notch, everything is very clean inside and out, and the staff is always very friendly. 5/5 to the staff and the location, as far as from a corporate standpoint, I think the new CEO has been doing things right in most situations, cutting down on the menu was a must, Starbucks was losing the coffee shop-ness that it was intended to be when they were opened. I would say pricing has gotten a little extreme for the average person, however I understand that because they still stay busy, from a profit standpoint there is nothing wrong with the situation unless they wanted to provide for a larger group of difference financial statuses. The food is not made fresh, however I could never complain about it because they do it in the best way a possible, oven it to make sure it's as crispy as it it were fresh. I think their menu is great, maybe a little too many options, but others would disagree If their favorite drink would be one of those which is where I feel the issues come from (making a massive menu and the customers get used to it, them trying to cut it back down with them missing their old drinks).
All and all I would say it's still a great place to pick up a drink, and they are moving in a positive direction however there are still a few kinks that could...
Read moreI never go to Starbucks but long story short I was compelled to go because of a friendly commitment to order a specific coffee drink. I didn't get the mocha Frappuccino because my diet can't take it right now, but my experience at this Starbucks was so good that I'm actually writing a review. The store was good but my barista was the best I have ever dealt with in my life, though that not being many since the last time I went to a Starbucks four years ago. Bottom line, Mariah was my barista and she was worthy of the 100% tip I gave her for the two Sparkling Waters that rang up at $5.45. She's great!
Whatever Starbucks manager might read this, you must give Mariah a huge raise, a bonus at least, or a big gift! She was very professional, and courteous and patient with me as I asked her for nutrition information on the drink that I could not ultimately purchase. The other baristas were also helpful in giving me info as they helped other customers.
If I should go to that store again, and I probably won't because I just don't drink coffee all that much, I would go when Mariah is there and I would give her a 200% tip the next time I purchase a sugar filled scone or pastry that I really want after I lose as much weight as someone I met at this very very friendly neighborhood Bartow Starbucks.
I hope this review...
Read moreYesterday I went to Starbucks so that a friend and I could take an online class in the evening.
To confirm that Starbucks would work for us, I went in at 6:30 and ask what time the lobby closed. The staff member told me the lobby would be closing at 8:30. Since our class usually ends around 8:15 I thought that would work perfectly. I told my friend to meet me there.
At exactly 7:40 of the staff members interrupted our class to tell us that this lobby will be closing in 30 minutes (8:10).
We were interrupted again at 7:55 to let us know that the lobby was closed and we would have to start packing up. I explained how we were told the lobby was open till 8:30, and then we were told that we could have till 8:10. The staff member then said the lobby closed at 8pm.
I told her our class was almost over and we would leave when it was done.
At 8 o'clock the staff turned up the music So we could no longer hear the class we were attending.
Unfortunately, my laptop does not work without being plugged in, so I had to leave the class early. And missed the homework review.
Once I got home I looked on the website and it clearly states the lobbyt is open till 8:30 and the drive-through is...
