Yesterday, March 26, I went through the drive through approximately 10 am. Ordered a bagel & large coffee. I handed the male drive through employee a $20.00. I know it was a $20 as thatās the ONLY large bill I had in my wallet. The others were singles. However, he gave me change for $10.00 instead of $20.00. His explanation was he typed in $10 on the cash register.
I was told was another man, I think was a store manager, heād contact me at the end of the day after checking the register. This āmanagerā person, claimed they NEVER make mistakes.
It has been nearly 24 hours after the visit. I have heard NOTHING!!!
Again, the only large bill in my wallet was a $20.00. But according to the store manager, they NEVER make a cash register error & type in the wrong amount.
I need a phone call apologizing & an offer to swing by & pick up the remaining $10 they owe me as change.

After 3 minutes, and a line of 4 cars behind me, I said "hello?" Again, told "one moment. A younger man took my order 30 seconds later. However, he was also curt at the window, bluntly saying "here is your donut, wait for your chai." No apology for the wait, no etiquette of saying something along the lines of taking a moment longer...just "wait for your chai" (which was only half full, as well). People drive thru because they DON'T have time to sit and wait. And what was our line waiting for? The cameras inside didn't display any customers at the counter and the one car in front of me had been long gone. Be polite to your customers; we're the reasons you even have an income, so appreciate...

This location has been historically understaffed but theyāre getting it together and getting some loving joyful new faces as employees. Give them another chance to make your day. Typing in the wrong change is terrifying. I saw another review write about a situation with this. Give them some compassion and grace to all service workers in a pandemic. Weāre all doing our best.
